Children are wonderfully open to new ideas. Knowledge is power, and it's my fondest wish that through my books I can help provide children with a sense of their own potential and unique place in the greater world community."

Snapshots: The Wonders of Monterey Bay- This book offers the reader an insightful look at the natural wonders and creatures around Monterey Bay. All the snapshots of creatures that inhabit the Monterey Bay area were fantastic. I really enjoyed looking at the Grey Whale pictures as well as the sea otters who all look very playful in their snapshots. This book would be a good read for any students interested in sea life. I would definitely read this with my elementary school and middle school students.
This is a great informational book for grades 3-5. This book taught me a lot about Monterey Bay and made it look like a fun place to be. I like how the book talks about everything inside and outside of the bay. It thought me about the creatures in and outside of the bay and about some of the physical features in and around the bay.
