This book was heavy on the emotion. Clair was attacked as a teen, her sister was murdered and now the bad guy has escaped from jail and come back after her. The federal agent who was a family friend, that she liked, is back to protect her, but she's not going to make his stay easy for him. He hurt her when he walked out of her life, becoming just like the parents who abandoned her.

There's emotional issues, but a good mystery. And for those of you who like sex scenes there are some of those too. Overall I liked the story.

the title of this book said it all. there were time I actually had to stop and think about the heroine out look toward the male villain, her parents, with that being said it refreshing to come across real life situation.

That was really good. Way better then your average Kindle Freebie. The plot was interesting, the characters developed, the story was complete and flowed at a nice pace.
