An ex-soldier suffering with PTSD takes a wild ride on the BDSM side in this short, steamy book! Enjoyed!

I’d be Begging for it too!
First of all any book that can keep me exercising longer than I intended to gets a nod from me. And I finished Begging For It in one trip to the gym. So yay me!
Tansy Jo “TJ” is a tough cookie...or to clarify she likes her sex rough, tough and up against the wall in slimy back alleys. She needs to feel the pain to achieve release. Too bad her latest f*&k buddy can’t give her what she needs.
TJ is a very interesting character. Nightmares, falling asleep at work and dirty sex. I was extremely pleased that in an unusual twist, it was TJ who was in the service and who was the one suffering from PTSD and survivor’s guilt. Most books it’s the hero who has these symptoms so I found it refreshing that this time it was the heroine.
Cross McNally’s a cop, but he’s also a Dom and when he secretly observes TJ and her dude getting it on...or not in the back alley he knows what TJ’s going through and knows he’s the one who can give her the helping “hand’ she needs.
Cross…what kind of name is that? What mother names their kid Cross...oh right this is fiction...or a Soap Opera.
There is somewhat of a 3-three in Begging For It but not in the traditional sense...I’d like to call it more like a friend lending a helping hand. Said friend is also a Cop and we get a little bad girl, “good” cop action. Unfortunately it was during this scene that certain cop paraphernalia was used in a manner I would rather not think about.
I loved the little twist that the author included about TJ and Cross’s relationship. Maybe they weren’t the total strangers TJ thought they were.

Coming home from the war TJ Lipton is only a shell of the woman she used to be. An unexpected tragedy has taken its toll on TJ and she has no idea how to fix her life or even herself. When fate brings Cross back into her life she does not recognize him but he realizes who she is and wants to save her if she will only let him.
Hopefully the 1-800-DOM line can help them through it all. This book is an intense read. TJ is struggling with her past and her pain. She is a strong woman who needs to find her way back and Cross may be just the person who can help her find herself again. I loved Cross and his patience. He finds himself falling hard for TJ and no matter what happens between them he still wants to help her. Cross is a good man with a big heart. He understands what TJ needs and is more than willing to give it to her no matter the consequences. It was nice to see not only their relationship build but also the bond of trust and love that they share. I was truly able to feel Cross and TJ's emotions throughout the story.Watching this bond develop made for a great read.
This book took me on an emotional ride. The author does a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life and making this not only a hot read but also a sweet romance. I will caution readers that this is a BDSM story and it does contain strong sexual scenes that may not be for everyone.

Review: Begging For It is definitely a book I will not forget. The characters had personality and I truly cared about them. TJ’s spirit yearns for forgiveness and compassion but she believes she deserves nothing but scorn and pain. From the very first pages I want to both hug her and scream at her. My first impression of Cross was very different. He seems to be a generally nice guy, trying really hard to do the right thing for someone he cares for very deeply. Cross has issues of his own to deal with, but he knows that he is exactly what TJ needs. I enjoyed reading Cross and TJ’s story very much because it was not a cookie cutter story with different names. The addition of Tanner in the mix is also very interesting but I don’t want to give too much away there. This is considered a novella but I did not feel that anything was missing and that to me is delightful. I sometimes find myself disappointed in shorter length stories because things are left out or skimmed over. That undeniably shows me how wonderful Delilah Devlin is in telling a great story.
This is my first 1-800-DOM-help novel but I know it will not be my last. I have already purchased two additional titles and can’t wait to read them. Ms. Devlin definitely has acquired a new fan.

This is another Devlin masterpiece. She writes S&M and bondage so well you want to give it a try. And this one isn’t just sexy either, as with most of her stories you are in for a heartfelt journey and romance. TJ and Cross are dynamite and explosive. They will take you on an epic journey so get strapped down and enjoy!

I think this is the first erotic story that made me feel so deeply for the characters; I shed more than a few tears. Don't let that stop you from reading this though, because it was also one of the hottest and most touching stories I've read by Ms. Devlin. Read the blurb and then don't wait to grab a copy of this and see for yourself.

It's hard to write a review for a short story without any spoilers. What I can say: This is not your typical BDSM story. Oh, there's sex, but it's not just about sex. This emotional story grabs you from the first page and never lets go. Ms. Devlin is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

Another great book from Delilah Devlin I love this author and this was a short read but totally awesome. The story line was great and she makes you want to try everything she write about. It really is a must read.

This was an emotionally intense read for me. For me the sex scenes were just icing on the story.

A little more hardcore than I am comfortable with particularly the psychological aspects wish I am not knowledgeable to comment on but suspect may be rather simplistic and convenient.
