Nurturing Eeman in Children, however, addresses an aspect of child-rearing that is vitally important, and is not touched upon in the mainstream selections that we are so familiar with. In the author's book, Dr Hamdan clearly and in no uncertain terms explain the importance of instilling in our children a strong connection to their Creator and a love for the religion that He has chosen for us and for them. From this book, you will learn the what, the why, and the how of raising a righteous Muslim child.

I really liked this and found it to be really practical too. My only "complaint" is that this was written pre-smart phones and social media so it was pretty out of date when talking about technology.
A guide book for muslim parents. Having knowledge in Islam might not be enough to educate children but should know the concept of an Islamic family that must be endured by the parents in developing an islamic personality at their earliest age, and not forgeting environmental factors. Almost all subject complimented with hadith and alQuran. So it is a good reminder indeed.
A concise explanation of Islam to ourselves. Friendship in Islam is based upon mutual love and respect. Be a friend to children around us. And be a good role model to them.
I honestly have learnt so much from this book, its very helpful for parents who are serious in wanting to raise good and upright muslim children. A definite MUST READ!
I'm sure it's the right book for someone who views religion in a much more conservative way. Whereas I agree with many of the author's points on how to raise children, I am puzzled by the contradictions, assumptions and the low number of background sources. I certainly presume the best of intentions, however, wouldn't wish for non-Muslims to read this as misunderstandings will rise.
This book is full of hadiths and verses from the Quran. I learned so much from it and have been applying some of the tips the author gives with my 2yo. Some stuff I read here were fascinating to me, how one hadith or verse from the quran relate to so many aspects while raising children. I wluld recommend this book to any parents. InshaAllah we will do a good job in raising our future generation.
Great compilation of Hadiths and Quranic verses on the various beliefs. The book would have been better if author provided more practical applications based on her experience as a therapist.
I borrowed this book from a client of my mother's. I'd been wanting to read it for a while and was quite happy to finally have the opportunity.
I found the book an extremely helpful and informative read. Along with explaining what Iman is, there were many helpful pointers in dealing with the religious aspect of raising children. I'll definitely be buying this if I get the opportunity to read again inn shâ Allâh.
