4.5 great start to 2025. Loved the characters and the storyline so much. The writing maybe went on a bit blurby sometimes which made parts boring and the ending was TOO fast 😡 and they kinda made the dynamic between james and Danny a bit different which is sad cos I loved their dynamic. But ultimately really good.

This is such a gorgeous, epic romance! It's complete genius, and beautifully delivered. Reading the story was wonderfully cathartic. The character development is simply superb. You feel for James and Rizzo so much. The way James manages to come to terms with his past really struck a chord with me. The dynamics between the characters are so believable - I only wish there was more than four books to this series!

Gripping from start to finish this is one of the best gay love stories I've read. The characters feel incredibly real and you feel for James so much. But it all gets even better as we slowly find out more about Rizzo... and fall in love with him a little more with every page we turn. This is a great series, all four books are highly recommended!
