If you can get past the almost inaccessible way the content is organized, this is the most practical guide I've found for strategically transitioning a congregation into fully integrating spiritual practice within the governance and live of the church.

This an excellent book to start a revolution and make your church meetings more beneficial for all. This book incorporates not only ideas but practical ways to put those ideas into action. We have already implemented some of the ideas in this book with great results. I suspect this will be an ongoing resource for some time to come.

Excellent points on how far too many meetings (religious or otherwise) are little more than reports that consume time. Olsen gives some very clear ways groups can enhance the process and energize the decision making process as well as keeping decisions from being a win/lose experience.
