THIS BOOK IS SOO GOOD IT MAKE ME THINK I NEED TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH MY MOTHER cause if i found that my mother has beast cancer i would not tell nobody or talk to nobody because my mother is my rock my soul the only way im here....i would feel the same why if my new friend is telling lies to my old friends makin them not like me..this book make u want to spend more time with ur parents and ur friends...get to know people before u started to call them ur friends cause they might look like a good person on the outside but in the inside they are trash...im in middle skool and i know its not for popularilty but for education thats wat i thought at first and i kept getting trouble bout that cause my good grades went down because i started to hang around the wrong people that got me in trouble.take it from somebody that been through this its not fun seeing ur grades as a F,2c's 1A and 1 B thats not good.so dont worry about wat ur friends think about you cause if they really cared or was your friend they would try to help you improve...
This bookis about a girl named Carmen Browne. She just moved to Ettrick, Virginia from Charleston , Virginia. Carmen is about to start 6th grade and Clay 7th at Matacoa Middle School. Carmen' s mom buys Carmen a lot of new and hip clothes. When Carmen goes to school on the first day her best friends Layah and Riana begin to become jealous of her when her brother introduces her to 8&9th graders. Carmen begins to become very very popular. If you haven't read this book then you need toread it because there is a lot of twist , turns, and drama.
Sixth grade, Carmen is now ready for junior high school. Excited, yet, Carmen's brother is gone. Her family is now devastated by the lost. Her grades take a drastic hit as a result of it. Will Carmen be able to get back on track?
A good book overall. I believe in general any girl would be able to relate to the Carmen Brown series.
This book was very interesting. In the book their were lots of important events example: Carmens' mom thought that she had breast cancer, because she had a lump on her breast and come to find out it wasn't cancerous. Another important event is that she has a conflict with her friends from her old school, they said that she doesn't talk to them and that every time she walks by she never says anything.
Well this was a great book. I read this one day because I was bored. It talks about a girl name "Carmen Brown" who is headed to the big leagues-middle school. But she is worried how to look and be popular. Later on she comes to her senses and become a better "Carmen Brown".
This is my favorite book of the series. I like how the experiences that Carmen goes through humbles her and how she handles it. Her reaction really shows that she is a child of God and refuses to react in a non-Christianly way like the girls in the Clique series. I've learned a lot from this book.
