When Jane’s husband discovers his wife dipping into the honey jar, he demands a taste of the decadent pleasure, putting three hearts at risk.

When Jane's husband Ethan discovers his wife has been dipping into the honey jar, he demands a taste of the decadent pleasure. But Jane's new lover Margot is newly divorced and shies from the idea of being with another man. Frustrated, but willing to be patient, Ethan is allowed to watch his wife experience mind-blowing pleasure, vowing that soon he will have Margot in his arms.

However, there is more to Margot's hesitation than entering a relationship with a married couple. Her ex is pressuring her—leaving her leery of men and afraid of dragging Jane and Ethan into it. While battling her attraction for Ethan, she shoots down Jane's request to make their relationship a true threesome.

Can Ethan help Margot overcome her fear of him and gain her trust, as well as put a stop to her ex's harassment?

I nabbed the second instalment in this series because I enjoyed the first one so much. I didn’t think the first, Deux, could be topped. Talk about all kinds of wrong! Trois had me in a bit of a state. A good state, but one that had me thinking all kinds of things. Like, do all of us have a secret yearning to have relations with someone of the same sex? I’d never really thought about it before—not beyond the usual, “She’s pretty” kind of thing, anyway—but Trois had me asking the question seriously for the first time. Whether it’s just the novelty of F/F for me, or whether I truly did need to address this question at some point in my life, I don’t know, but I’m glad I did.

Jane and Margot’s affair has progressed. They’re comfortable with one another, and Jane’s husband, Ethan, knows all about it. He’s ok with their relationship, just wants Jane to be happy, and if loving Margot does that, then it’s fine by him. He’s not going to lie and say he wouldn’t mind joining in either, and I liked that. He wants in on the action, and who can blame him? If I was him, I’d want in on it too! Now there’s a secret I didn’t mean to slip out, but hey, who cares. This is how the book gets you—acknowledging things about yourself you didn’t know existed until you read those words.

Margot’s insecurity about men was one thing preventing her from allowing Ethan into the bedroom with them. That and the fact she didn’t want a threesome spoiling what she and Jane had—what Ethan and Jane had. Margot had never wanted to come between the married couple—pardon my filthy mouth there—and I understood her here. She’d found someone who loved her wholly, wanted to keep that for herself, special, and having Ethan join them might ruin it.

But Ethan looked at her a certain way, and she knew there was room in her heart for him too. I cheered about that. I’ve read ménage with m/m/f, but let me tell you, f/f/m is a whole lot of HOT and more. It’s my new favourite love triangle!

A seriously hot read, but the heat level isn’t what did it for me. It was the feelings and emotions of Margot that snuggled into my heart. I like her a lot and look forward to the next book in the series. If it gets any hotter, though, I’m likely to faint or something.

Trios by Em Petrova
* I received a copy of this book from Breathless Press in exchange for an honest review*

Trios is the second installment in the French Kiss Chronicles and it focuses on bringing Jane’s husband Ethan into the mix. Jane and Margot have been sharing their afternoons when they can but it’s been a few days since they last saw each other. Margot hungers for Jane’s touch and sets out to surprise her with a late night visit but she is the one that gets the surprise.

Jane and Ethan have both grown to love Margot and they want her to share their life with them. Their love is stronger than ever but they want to take the next step and add a third member to their relationship. Can they convince Margot that Ethan doesn’t bite, well not too hard anyway?

I have been in love with Ethan’s character since the first story. He is strong and masculine but he has a very soft spot for his wife. He loves her beyond all else and wants her to be happy, no matter what it takes. He was upset when she started the affair with Margot because she didn’t talk to him first. He understands her need and is very turned on by the thought of watching her and Margot together.

Margot’s character has grown since the first book. She is more sure of herself and her relationship with Jane but I worried she would backslide because of the ex. Domestic abuse tends to make women appear timid and meek but Margot didn’t let it get to that point. She is in love with Jane and is intrigued with Ethan and she knows they are a packaged deal. She agrees to let Ethan watch and something inside her melts.

The scene where Ethan is watching Margot and Jane is so powerful. He just stands there and watches, obviously aroused by what he is seeing. Slowly Jane pulls him into the activities, while making sure that Margot remains comfortable around him. You can just feel the love and adoration he has for his wife by the look in his eyes.

The chemistry between the three of them is obvious from the beginning, even if Margot doesn’t want to acknowledge it. The characters are good together and the sex scenes will light the pages on fire.

Overall I really enjoyed this story better than the first one and can’t wait for the next installment to see how things are working out between Ethan, Jane and Margot. I give Trios 4 Flaming Hearts.

This is the second on Ms. Petrova’s, French Kiss Collection, and it didn’t disappoint. The love scenes were hot and they were about love, not just about sex. It’s a story about how to make three in a relationship work, not easy when one is scared of men and doesn’t want to come between the other two.

I just wish, and yes I know this was supposed to be short, that the story line with Margot and her ex was given the time it needed to work itself out. I felt that part was rushed because it was so engaging. And Ms. Petrova wrote it so well I would have loved another page or two. This reviewer can’t wait to get her hands on the next book, Quatre.

(this is my review for the full trilogy)
I went into this trilogy with high hopes and was not disappointed. The scenes were plentiful and steamy...and in almost any combination imaginable. Going into the first book, I knew that Jane started her affair with Margot despite being married. Jane knows that Ethan will be fine with it, but I was a bit disappointed that Jane didn't discuss her desires with Ethan until after the fact. The other negative mark for me came when Margot begins her relationship with Danny. She knows that she is not willing to give up Jane and Ethan, but she waits until after Danny has declared his love and they've slept together to tell him about her other lovers. I enjoyed this series a lot and would recommend the stories to any menage romance readers.

**contains f/f, m/f/f, m/f/f/m, and m/m situations**

This was ultimately a very sweet story with a lot of steam thrown in. Jane and Margot are lovers. Jane is married to Ethan. Ethan is more than cool about Jane's affair... he wants in. But Margot just got through a messy divorce with an increasingly angry and aggressive ex, so she's skittish of men. Neither Jane nor Ethan are aware of her fear. Thankfully, Ethan's in the right place at the right time to protect her, which allows him inside the walls she'd built around her heart. It was sweet for Margot to feel like she found a comfortable place after the fear she'd felt for so long.

Just bloody brilliant. Is all I can say. I loved all of their connection. It was truly wonderful. The heat chemistry was off the charts. I loved the added third to the women in this story. even though Jane is the one who's already married. Ethan is totally hot.

Talk about steamy! This second book is even hotter. This series would make a fabulous full novel.
