1965:17-year-old Jon Scarby reluctantly betrays his boyfriend.

At some point during the summer holidays Davy Ross vanishes. Despite interrogation by detectives and interviews with psychiatrists Jon cannot remember anything about it. Davy is listed as missing and is eventually presumed dead. An air of suspicion hangs over Jon from that day on.
