Love this story, written by my grandmother, it takes place in the hills of Missouri. My Grandmother wrote seven books and many children's plays. You can read about her on Wikipedia Cena Christopher Draper. Her writing is the style of Mark Twain, and in 1983 she was nominated for the Mark Twain writers award. Wonderful story about a miss fit hound dog and the children who love and train him. My grandmother loved nature, dogs, horses, and cats. This book she dedicated to me and my two sisters.
