If you're looking for a good verse by verse study of Proverbs, this is a very good book. The first of two volumes, it contains an introduction to Proverbs as a whole and the study of Proverbs 1-15. For each verse, the English translation is given in addition to the Hebrew. Below the English translation is a treasure of Jewish wisdom (from the Mishnah, Talmud, and tradition), as well as a discussion on the differing interpretations of the Hebrew words used in the verse (where necessary).

This is a very meaty book. Take your time, and study a few verses a day to get the most out of it.
