Shashikant Joshi became a facebook friend when I was just beginning to surf the goliath of social networking site. I happened to see that he had just published this book. I ordered it right away to see what exactly he meant by "Attitude Shift: Sanskrit Maxims for Contemporary Life and Leadership". It is a great book that one can start reading from any where, even in the middle of the book.
"A collection of Sanskrit maxims for life and leadership" says the title but I think it is more of a lovely introduction to the famous Subhashitas (meaningful quotes) in the language. When one actually tries to mull over each of these quotes over a period of at least a day, they metamorphose into maxims, short, pithy statements that express a general truth or rule of conduct which can be interpreted and applied as one feels correct according ones' inner voice, the conscience.
Congratulations to Shashikant Joshiand may he continue to write such inspiring books in future too! God Bless.

Brilliant, full of timeless knowledge.

Seems as if all the knowledge is already there in Sanskrit scriptures - and for years and in present times we are just rediscovering it.
