I actually got much more from the book than initially expected. For example, I thought that author is either going to stick to and rephrase bare theory or stick only USSR as an example. But gladly it is much wider.

I learned about different views on the subject, economical predisposition and reasons, cultural / historical and other differences in the theory implementation, successes and mistakes, how people perception evolved through time and whether its all make/made sense.
