A short, simple, warm, easy read. I would like to see the version with photos.

It was an interesting book, I liked how short and snappy it was. I liked the strong relationships that where formed while he did such ambitious and dangerous things.(everyone dying at the end got me 🥹)

Great little read. Definitely worth putting on your book list if you're into mountains, stories of people overcoming extreme conditions and situations, climbing and learning about a very humble man who contributed much to the world and whose name will live on.

Very interesting read. Good basic information about Mt Everest, Antarctica and building schools in Nepal.
Makes me want to read more about Hillary.

The category that this book fits into on the bingo is an autobiography or biography.

I decided to this book as on the blurp it explained the difficulties and challenges edmund had climbing mount Everest. Also it explaind the life Sir Edmund Hillary whilst he was growing up to then becoming a montaineer.

I liked that the book went into detail showing his personality and how good he was at adapting to people he didn't know. Also I like his sheer will power and determination to go out and achieve his goals and not strive to achieve a goal, get so far but never finish it. The book had many facts about not only him but people in his family that gave him the determination.

The only thing that I could fault in this book was that were a few spelling errors and I belive I counted atleast three of them.

I would recommend this book to a person who is an ameteur mountaineer that as this book may give them an extra boost of courage and thrill to go out and do the same as Sir Edmund Hillary did.
