„In romanul acesta apare ceva nemaintilnit in literele romanesti: o impregnare cu Eros a universului. Fric is a strange book - a novella with very surrealist and quite explicit language that mesmerizes the reader while not being necessary coherent or logical revolving around events in Moreea of 1715 and around the corpse of the title character who despite his suicide and being left to rot outside, sports a continual erection...

This is followed by a few author auto-biographical short stories with erotic themes, though the stories tend to be darkish and matter of fact more than anything else.

An unusual and interesting reading experience

Although I am not particularly enjoying vulgarity in literature, it is clear from the techniques used and the phrasing that it is a talented writer. At some moments, I also enjoyed this short novel and I wonder how much wild the imagination can go.
