USA Today bestselling author, Mary Leo, writes small-town, swoon-worthy, sexy romance with enough humor to give you a giggle or two. She loves Italian food, a bubbly flute of Prosecco, meeting her fabulous readers, the company of other writers, and a cup of hot tea every morning. She's a city girl who adores a small town. When she's not writing, she's reading or binging on a great comedy series.
33. A "cheap" Harlequin Flipside. Basic storyline was that he dumped her after setting a wedding date 10 years ago, became a hot shot athelete and now he's back in her life. She's spent the last 10 years under a "curse" - every guy she dates or becomes engaged to suddenly becomes accident prone. A half-baked scheme between her and her aunt to end the curse begins a long line of spoofs and mis-steps but ends in happily ever after.
Meh. I was hoping that this would be better, but I think I am just over the short serial romance; not that this was necessarily the fault of the author. There just is not enough room for character development in this short of a story.
