“it was the best of times
it was the worst of times.”

Ended this book with tears streaming down my face ugh. My heart hurts for Sydney Carton. Definitely reading the full version. 100% sure my rating wouldn’t change.

Didn’t realize it was the abridged version until after I bought it.

Aún cuando esta es la versión acortada del libro, disfrute mucho leerlo. Nos habla de un contexto histórico en Francia, en el cual vemos como la gente pobre no tenía derechos y sufría de hambre. Vemos lo que puede provocar el odio y lo que nos puede llevar a hacer.

Acabe este libro con lagrimas en mis ojos. Sin duda fue un acto muy heroico de Sydney y termino su vida de una manera que siempre quiso. Había perdido la esperanza de cambiar, pero justo al final apunto de morir, estaba lleno de esperanza.

Gran libro, sin duda me va a persuadir a leer el libro completo.

Super little abridged book! I am so glad I stumbled across and read this book. I have never read the original, but I will be adding it to my list!
