In his confession, Ben McCloud told Detective Chief Inspector John Walker about the four murders that took place at Black Hill Farm...but what about the others? There are two sides to every story, and this is Andy's.
The conclusion to the sinister and frightening events that took place at Black Hill Farm.

Tim O'Rourke has done it again, made me lose track of time, made me miss my bus-stop and be late for work... not actually late since I always calculate things to arrive 15 minutes early but almost just on time. Tim O'Rourke has an amazing ability to write suspense and mystery, the man can grab you from inside the book and pull you into it as if he were an arm pulling you into a hole in the wall, pulling you through a doorway to a different, pushed, twisted world where everything and anything can happen. Andy has come back, just like John had been expecting all those months waiting in the cold, at the barn at Black Hill Farm. She finally came and told him her story, almost the same that Ben had told him a year before, but with details he didn't know. John finds out what exactly happened, what drove Andy and Ben to do what they did and who murdered them, Michael, Emily, Roderick... everyone that died that night. And John... Johns takes it in his hands to find justice for each and all of them. So he goes to his friend and former colleague, Richard, and tells him the whole story, will Richard understand? But as usual, Tim O'Rourke has cards up his sleeve and surprises until the very end... leaving you hanging at the edge of your seat, not wanting to go back to the real world and leave Andy, John and everyone else alone in the book. With excellent description, clear information and permanent jumps and surprises, Andy's Diary will have your attention from the very first word up to the absolute end. If you haven't yet read Black Hill farm... do it... and then read this one... you must do so before you die or your life will never be complete and you'll never be able to leave the station!!!
First...please please please make sure you read Black Hill Farm first (with the red cover). Nothing in this story will make any sense to you if you don't. Second...WOW! I had been waiting "patiently" for this one to come out for the last few weeks, after I had finished BHF and it was worth every second. It took me less than 24 hours to finish it as I couldn't put it down. I own a Nook but have the Kindle app on my phone and computer so I could read BHF (it is only available for Kindle) so when I wasn't reading BHF: Andy's Diary (or as I like to call it BHF2) on my laptop, I was reading on my phone. It answered so many questions I had from the first one and had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning. Even after only reading page one I knew this was going to be a great book and through no part of it was I disappointed or let down. The twists and turns had me trying to read faster because I couldn't wait to find out what was next fast enough. I "had a feeling" about the ending but wasn't sure by any means but the conclusion was, well, just AWESOME! Didn't see it coming and just kept thinking "WHAT???" in my head. As much as I loved BHF and BHF2 I think it ended just as it should have, and both stories told the stories perfectly. Only regret? I didn't read slower because I didn't want it to end ;) Well done once again Tim!!!! It was well worth the wait and I will definitely be re-reading these books again sometime. This is an amazing author and I can't wait to read more of his work!
This sequel to Black Hill Farm is just as amazing as Black Hill Farm itself! I was reeling at the end of the first book, and here I am reeling again at the conclusion of the second and final novel in this series. WOW. O’Rourke is a superb writer and I loved having Andy’s viewpoint as it put a lot of information from Black Hill Farm into perspective. The first half of the novel explains Andy’s life, thoughts, and feelings prior to Ben moving to her home, revealing events that help explain Andy’s touch and go mentality and erratic behavior in the first novel. The second half of the novel rehashes events from the first, but this time it’s all from Andy’s viewpoint, shedding light on important scenes and giving the reader a front row seat to the craziness surrounding Andy. I loved it!
Wow! Andy's Diary is the sequal to 'Black Hill Farm' and this book did not disapoint. The first book was so good that I wondered if it could be improved upon and it certainmly did. This book is so clever as it fills in the missing pieces from book one. You learn that there was so much more going on in Andy's life and on Black hill Farm than you never realised. This had so many clever twists and like the first book this book would leave me for many days after finishing it.
The sequel to “Black Hill Farm” brings back to fascinating police inspector interviews of the first book, but the prior inspector finds himself on the other side of the law. Most of the plot is carried by the point of view of Andy, a beautiful teenage girl whose parents owned the farm. More mystery is peeled back to expose unexpected paranormal events. Overall, this is a good sequel, and my only critique is a bit of “redux” of the first book. Three stars!
I'm able to give this book the 5 stars the first one may have deserved because there was some feel good parts in it. Like in the end when you know He is going to get what he deserves. Again, good book. I couldn't put it down.
I just loved this story line! My mind really got a work out with all the twist and turns. I can usually figure out who did what in a book, not this time. Thanks for a wonderful read Mr. O'Rourke, I'm looking forward to reading your Kiera Hudson series.
Another captivating read from Tim O’Rourke. There are twists and turns at every corner.
We are mainly on a journey with Andy, her version of events at Black Hill Farm. I felt like I was looking through her eyes the whole time, I could really feel her emotions.
John Walker has got himself in a bit of a pickle and he needs to show his innocence. He is now in the interviewee’s chair, a suspect. How things have changed.
Tim has written quite a brilliant mini series here, one worthy of publishing. You think you are onto something and then Tim knocks you sideways with another twist.
Tim is a real thinker, he is very clever at deceiving his readers into believing one thing, and then when the readers is comfortable thinking they may be clever and working out where Tim is going........Bam! Another twist gets thrown in.
Book # 1, Black Hill Farm will, shock you, captivate you and make you ‘feel’ all sorts of things towards the characters. Book # 2 Andy’s Diary will have you back tracking with Andy in a real who dunnit mystery with twists and turns and all is not what you think. There are other players....* waggles eyebrows *

I took a couple of days to write this review as I wanted to just dwell on it for a bit. Another thought provoking and definitely twisted tale from Tim that perfectly ties up any loose ends from the previous book. Andy's Diary certainly lends more depth to the story and gives us an inside view of her thoughts and reactions which seem more plausible being told from her POV and makes her appear a little less crazy. This story is not for the faint of heart who prefer paranormal romance so I would advise you to look elsewhere if that is your genre. If you want to read a well crafted story that is both imaginative and also pushes the boundaries between what is right and wrong then I urge you to consider this author. He weaves a wonderful tapestry that propels us towards the end tying up any stray threads along the way leaving you in no doubt that you have been entertained.
Tim ORourke has done it again!! I pride myself in being able to work out a plot before the end of a book, O'Rourke is the only Author that manages to surprise me again & again & again! I never know how one of his stories are gonna end until Im there thinking "where the hell did that come from??" LMAO for me thats excellent storytelling. His books are gritty, gorey, suspensful & sometimes plain old gross =] full of charaters that really pull you into the story & make you think about it long after you are done. This book is the same way. I was totally pulled in right from page 1 til the very end. It answers alot of question from the 1st book and the ending was a complete shock which left me satisfied but very sad at the same time. Great series, awesome Author, Highly recommended!!!!
I love the brilliant mind of Tim O'Rourke I just don't understand where he comes up with these amazing stories and how cleverly he can tell them every time I read one of his books I smile because there's always a hidden easter egg from another one of his books in there I love his creative character is and where they come from I would love to sit down and talk with this man one day he truly is one of the most brilliant writer is I have ever read and I enjoy his work. In a follow up to Black Hills Farm you get to find out so much more that Ben didn't disclose in the first book there were so many twists and turns I wasn't sure exactly where it was going to go but I am so glad it went the way that it did.
Everything that Tim said and implied in BLACK HILL FARM was enough to set my mind reeling. Ben and Andy's background in particular was deeply disturbing Freud will have a field day analyzing these teens. They went through so much for a pair of 16yo teens it's no wonder their moral compass doesn't point North anymore. But it's how they coped with the tragedies in the Farm that got me really perturbed, only a deranged person can survive in that Farm the way these two have.
I think I've pulled a little of my hair out! All the twists and suspense nearly killed me! Okay, Andy has every right to act as bitchy as she so chooses! I didn't know her story in Book 1, so I instantly disliked her. Never has the saying "Never judge a book by it's cover", been so true. That girl went through hell and it was just so unfair. Tim O'Rourke, you really had my head messed up with these books. I'm completely speechless!
Again I find my mind working over trying to predict what would/could happen at Black Hill Farm… to no avail, I was shocked and delighted at the story and of course the build to the finale… oh yeah, I do love retribution and good old fashioned revenge. As for the maggots – YACK!!
Tim O’Rourke has grapped my attention yet again, and again I have to continue to read the next book…more Tim MORE :) Time for Vampire Seeker I think!
This book was a shocker from the first paragraph. Book two fills in the missing pieces from the first book. The beauty of this is that you didn't even realize there were missing pieces. I am constantly amazed at how Mr. O'Rourke ties his different series together with just enough of a hint that you only catch it if you read all of his work. I am anxiously awaiting his next release.
Fabulous! This was a perfect wrap-up to the first. If you read Black Hill Farm, you MUST read Andy's Diary. Don't you want to know what happened to her?
The twists never end... and he gets me every time!
Another captivating read from Tim O'Rourke. There are twists and turns at every corner. you start to delve deeper into what happened at Black Hill Farm and the events leading up to it which in explains why Andy and Ben were doomed before they even found each other.
Loved getting to hear Andy's perspective of the events at Black Hill Farm.....Quite impressed with myself for managing to figure it all out correctly from early on in the book :) another fab read Tim.....
This is the second book in a flipping fantastic series! You will be saying " wow, omg, and now it all makes sense!" The ending will leave you speechless.A must read...mind blowing!
