Story Problems

Rate this book
Rob Carney must believe in the power of myths: the poetry that can't be explained by science, the stories with the power to change the course of our lives unexpectedly, late at night, around a crackling campfire. This is lucky for us. Like those stories, the poems in the book will make you laugh, rock back in joy, fall out of your chair in amazement and, while you're on your back recovering, wonder how we ever forgot that the night sky is full of stars. I first encountered Rob Carney's poems in the pages of Sugar House Review and wanted to read more. His poems create a delightful mythology the world and plus, he likes cats:

6. Which of the following theorms is most accurate:
A) People kept cats to bring the mouse count down; or,
B)People saw beauty in their leaping computations, in their pattern of such long stillness, then stalking and teeth?________.
