? In het Nederlands heet dit boekje "Cijfers kleuren vormen"
🤔Dit boekje heb ik minstens 6 keer gebruikt omdat het zo aansloeg bij het Turkse meisje van 5 dat veel moeite had met Nederlands. Het boekje is zeker ook leuk voor oudere kinderen dan 2 jaar dus en goed voor het zelfvertrouwen als je ziet dat je voorleeskind het boekje elke week gemakkelijker afgaat en toch elke keer ook weer wat bijleert.
This book is filled to the brim with different words to teach your baby. Because of its disorganization I took off some stars. It's weird to be learning shapes and then next page you're learning opposites. I think they should have stuck with one subject and many different books. Other than that the every page is bright and colorful and if your baby starts learning at least one of these words it's worth it right?
These types of books are ubiquitous in the book aisles of every big box store, and I have had more than a few in my time as a parent. This one in particular is: well done, compact, sturdy (some board books fall apart quickly), and uncluttered with too many graphics. It also has opposites, telling time, and a social studies page.

Simple words for vocabulary building, colors, shapes, opposites etc. My kids liked looking at the pictures of familiar things when they were younger and my 3 y/o will practice counting on the number pages now.
En el carro de Santi porque es de su sobrino 🙊 TBH this one a good but also it says IN ORDER… wake up, breakfast… get dressed AND THEN EAT LUNCH girl you didn’t do shit
M is learning words, and I was really impressed by M's willingness to sit through this entire book, repeating each of the words I said. #26months
I like the bright clear photographs of the opening numbers section -- though I would not have picked circular "candies" as one of my nouns.
I also really like how for the colors pages, in addition to having 3 or 4 items of that color, the background of the photographs is also a wash of that color -- so you can gesture at the whole page to indicate the color, and I think it helps reinforce the color.
I didn't love the shapes section -- though I think that's probably true of every teaching-shapes book I have encountered, And I enjoyed the book more when I stopped trying to explain everything and just said the words. (I don't think an umbrella is the most intuitive object to demonstrate "closed" vs. "open," but okay.)
Using a two-story ranch house for "home" was a choice. (While we got "city," there weren't any urban buildings like "apartment building" -- though we did get "road." We got "countryside" -- which I wouldn't even know how to explain to a toddler -- but no "park" for sub/urban kids or "field" or "farm" for rural kids. We did get "beach" and "forest" and "river" and "mountains," which I will validate as useful general geography words.)
This book would be great for a child who is just learning numbers, colors, and shapes. This book is super colorful to attractive the child's eye and has large print. The numbers are also displayed in animals ands objects. This book also includes colors. It says the color and shows things that are of that color. The outside of the book s also very appealing to ones eye and plush.
