The residents of Middlemarch have a nickname for reporter Tomasine Brooks. They call her Peeping Tom and refuse to answer her questions about the mysterious black cats spotted in the vicinity. To them she's an outsider -- the enemy -- who has no place in their close-knit shifter community. Tomasine is determined to find a safe place to settle, but earning the locals' trust seems impossible. In desperation, she decides to seduce the sexy Felix Mitchell into giving away Middlemarch's secrets because it's a matter of life or death...hers. From the moment feline shifter Felix Mitchell crashes into Tomasine outside the post office, he desires her with an urgency that makes him suspect they are fated mates. When they are together the connection is hot, the sex is spicy and she makes him happy, but Tomasine is close-mouthed about her past -- a past that can threaten their future together.
USA Today Bestselling author, Shelley lives in Auckland, New Zealand with her husband and a rambunctious puppy.
Typical New Zealanders, Shelley and her husband left home for their big OE soon after they married (translation of New Zealand speak - big overseas experience). A year long adventure lengthened to six years of roaming the world. Enduring memories include being almost sat on by a mountain gorilla in Rwanda, lazing on white sandy beaches in India, whale watching in Alaska, searching for leprechauns in Ireland, and dealing with ghosts in an English pub.
While travel is still a big attraction, these days Shelley is most likely found in front of her computer following another love - that of writing stories of romance and adventure. Other interests include watching rugby and rugby league (strictly for research purposes), being walked by the dog, and curling up with a good book.
Determined to find a safe place to settle, Tomasine “Peeping Tom” Brooks decides to seduce the sexy Felix Mitchell into giving away Middlemarch’s secrets in this enthralling paranormal romance.
After crashing into Tomasine, Felix desires her with an urgency that makes him suspect that they are mates and the readers are immediately drawn into the intrigue and passion as the connection between Tomasine and Felix grows hotter and the danger grows closer. The attraction is a scorching heat that singes the readers but the relationship has a bit of a problem, Tomasine has secrets that she refuses to reveal not to mention that she’s made a bit of a mess in regards to her reputation in the town of Middlemarch which causes emotional turbulence as well as a few chuckles throughout the story. The plot is well written, fast paced and flows smoothly from beginning to end with lots of suspense, excitement and romance.
Anticipation builds throughout the story as curiosity holds readers captive in regards to Tomasine’s secrets and excitement builds as strangers show up in Middlemarch and the Mitchell’s circle the wagons. The fascinating town of Middlemarch with its sexy felines lives up to the previous stories and makes another visit very worthwhile and entertaining and it has already got me ready for another visit wondering just who the mysterious woman in town is.

This was a very good story. I liked both Felix and Tomasine and enjoyed their story. This is the first story I've read by this author and I liked it well enough that I'd read more by this author. This is the second book in the series and it seems like some pertinent things took place in the first book so there were some things that seemed unexplained at first but most everything does come out as the story progresses.
Tomasine is a black leopard shifter and works as a reporter. Tomasine is the rightful ruler of a clan in Africa but she married the wrong man and lost her clan to treason. Now she's on the run with her daughter and "cousin", hiding from assassins that want her dead to remove any risk of her being a threat to the current ruler.
Felix is a black leopard shifter that runs a ranch with his family. Felix is a good guy was never really interested in mating but lately he's been feeling an itch. He relatively sure the itch is because of Tomasine but he's wary of her because of her being a reporter.
This was an interesting spin to a fated-mate situation. The attraction is instantaneous but because of Tomasine's past relationship, she wasn't in a hurry to trust anyone, even her fated-mate, so it takes a bit for their relationship to cement. Felix is cautious at first but once he decides he can trust Tomasine, he's unwilling to let anything get between them and takes as much as Tomasine is willing to allow. It takes a little time and help from his family but Felix does eventually earn Tomasine's trust and once her past is dealt with, they proceed towards a HEA together (with the kids).
This was a very enjoyable story. Tomasine was a good heroine...definitely not perfect but I liked her by the end. Felix was a good hero...I liked both him and his family. Overall, this was an very enjoyable story that I would recommend. :)
I didn't want to put down my Kindle, this book was that good.
Tomasine Brooks is on the run with her two daughters. No one knows that they are shifters because all 3 of them douse themselves with perfume to cover their scent each and every day. She just doesn't know who she can trust, and hiding their scent will keep them safe until Tomasine decides that Middlemarch is safe to stay and live. She can't risk being hunted down again.
Felix Mitchell can't get Tomasine Brooks out of his head. Other than her horrible perfume that she wears, he likes everything about her. When their sexual chemistry finally gets the best of them one night at a dance, Felix discovers her secret of being a shifter. Not wanting to scare her off because he knows that she's his mate, he needs to find out why she's hiding her scent. But most importantly, he has to make sure she knows that she and her girls are safe with him; no matter what.
Will Tomasine finally let down her guard and trust someone? What will Felix do once he knows the whole story about Tomasine?
This is book 3 of the Middlemarch Shifters and it’s a fantastic story. Tomasine ( Tom ) is a reporter she’s been asking around town about the large black cats that have been seen in the area, the people have nicknamed her Peeping Tom she asks too many questions about a town that has too many secrets. The people of Middlemarch believe that she doesn’t belong there she’s too nosy but Tom needed to move to a town where she felt safe and Middlemarch seemed perfect for her but the townsfolk haven’t been welcoming at all. When Felix literally runs into Tom he knew that she was his mate but she’s a reporter and he’s not going to go through that again, but Tom has secrets herself and the horrible perfume that she wears to help her and her daughters stay hidden but Felix finds out and he doesn’t know how he’s going to tell her that he knows about her secret but he is determined to protect them. This is such a fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Tomasine Brooks is on the run but she hopes that she has finally found a place for her, her daughter and cousin to settle safely. They cover their scent with perfume because they are still wary of people and not sure if they have safely escaped their trouble. Every since Felix bumped into her outside the post office he has known that she was his mate. However he didn't know that she was a shifter until he got close enough to taste her. Once he did there was no keeping him away and he wanted to know all her secrets. Can Felix protect them from the threat they are running from? Can he show her that he is different than the shifters she's known in the past?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Thomasine was frustrated in her efforts to escape the assassins.
somehow an article she had written about sightings of big cats near the village where Felix, Sabre and their clan ended up published - and the distribution went wide. she had submitted an article on the history of the area, but the outpourings of her frustration ended up published instead.
As a reporter, the villagers nicknamed her Peeping Tom and barely spoke to her, not wanting to out their shifter secrets.
Funny how they did not realize she is a shifter too - despite the use of a heavy perfume - sometimes a tip off.
Can she find love, and safety, with the Mitchell Clan? Seems she might have found her mate.
An exciting adventure, with lots of family and steamy bits continues.

When reporter Tomasine is crashed into by panther shifter Felix , he realises that she is someone very important to him. Maybe even his fated mate! She is wanting to settle down somewhere she feels safe and the sighting of panthers has the reporter in her interested. But the locals won't tell anything to an outsider. Just what is Tom's history? Why is she so determined to solve the mystery? Felix and Tom are so HOT together that he is even more sure that she is his mate. But how can he trust her? What exactly is driving her and can he help? brilliant characters and a great plot by the terrific paranormal writer Shelley Munro.I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. However, as I enjoyed it so much, and to support the author, I bought my own copy. Definitely recommended
2.5 Minus a half star for the title, which is stalkerish, and should never be used to entice people to a romance. The story is not about a peeping tom. I received this as a free trilogy. I would not have bought a book with this title.
Among the first three Middlemarch shifter noels, this is the best. I wish that was more of a complement. Tomasine’s story is compelling, but comes in late without enough detail. The story is all Felix and her side is buried in that. Then, as quickly as it was revealed, it’s over. Additionally, the sex scenes are long. I know I will find sex in romance novels, but the story should be the point. If I’m flipping pages to get back to the story, something is missing. I think there could be a good tale in Middlemarch, but I’m done searching for it.
My Peeping Tom, or Peeping Tom by Shelley Munro is fairly quick paranormal romance. This is a great choice for readers with limited reading time. Ms. Munro has given us a well-written book. I love the characters in the story. Tomasine is hiding from her old pack. Felix has been drawn to Tomasine since bumping into her at the post office. Their story is full of drama, humor, sizzle and suspense. I enjoyed reading My Peeping Tom and look forward to reading more from Shelley Munro in the future. My Peeping Tom is book 3 of the Middlemarch Shifters Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Tomasine has come to Middlemarch and wants to hook up with Felix Mitchell for protection. She is on the run from assassins. After bumping into each other at the Post Office, Felix knows they are mates but she is definitely hiding something. As they navigate their relationship with lots of steamy sex, dangers still surround them I loved their connection and the desire they had to protect the other one. There are a few revelations and a few twists before you get to the HEA - or at least happy for now. The final resolution is assumed but who knows what can change in the next book.

Tomasine has been on the run with her daughter and foster daughter for a while now and she's hoping she's found somewhere safe for them when she learns about Middlemarch. What she doesn't count on is finding her mate, Felix, but that's exactly what she finds. And poor Felix doesn't know what to think about her, especially when he realizes she is his mate and she's a reporter. 💕💗🔥💕

Book three in the Middlemarch Shifters series is well written a book I was not putting down until I had finished reading. This is a fast story to read. Tomasine Brooks is a reporter also called Peeping Tom by the residents of Middlemarch she meets feline shifter Felix Mitchell and they hit it off, but she is keeping secrets. A story that held my interest throughout. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Four and a half stars. This is the third book in the series but it is not necessary to read the others to enjoy this one. Tomasine is an interesting character as are her secrets. She plans to have a fling with Felix but sometimes things don’t work out as we expect. This is a well written, fast paced and sexy story. This is definitely on my recommended list.

I've read several books written by Shelley Munro; she has done a great job at writing a fantastic book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

This book was very engaging to read with some very intense scenes. It kept me on my toes while reading, with a few twists that I didn't see coming. While the third story in the series, it does stand on its own focusing on Felix and Tomasine. Their story is told, but there are questions still to be answered, hopefully in the next book. I'm hooked and will keep reading the series.
Our heroine is running from her past and she will do anything to protect her two children. Our hero is at first terrified that his mate might be the enemy, until he figures out she's hiding something. Family is stressed in this story, that and acceptance of help when offered isn't a bad thing.
This book was a complete snore. It had the longest, most boring erotic scenes I've ever read. The first one went on for pages and we got everything from thoughts about her dead husband to a short convo about her kid... all while they undressed/ made out in a barn. Once I got to the chapter where the villain was graphically hooking up with a random I bailed.
I love shifter stories and I really enjoyed this captivating and interesting story. The story-line and characters are interesting and I like them. I also enjoyed the suspense, intrigue and twists and turns in this story. I look forward to reading more from this writer.

Felix and Tomasine’s story was very “romantic” but had elements of mystery and intrigue that kept my interest. I would have enjoyed the story more if I had read the first in the series but it could definitely be read as a stand alone.

Only a 4.5 stars because it started out a little slow. It really took me a while to get into the story. Great plot, with great main H/h characters. Wished the children was expanded on. Well worth your time in reading.
I enjoyed the story. The storyline was interesting and evenly paced. The characters were dynamic. The storyline was a bit different (in a good way) from other shifter stories.
A good read for people who are in to the series recommend highly can't wait for the next one of the series a really enjoyable read but quick shaping up to be a enjoyable series must read the next one of the series
