A dystopian romantic thriller from USA Today Bestselling Author Kailin Gow to be produced by Netflix Originals Producer
What if you found out you never existed?
My name is Celestra Caine. I am seventeen years old, which makes me a senior at Richmond High. I never thought this would happen to me, but it has... I'm one of those people you see every day, go to school with, remember seeing at the supermarket or the mall, and then one day you don't hear about them any longer. They're gone, and eventually, you forget them.

15% into this book and I gave up. It feels like I'm reading fanfiction, it really does. The protagonist has no personality, there's barely any dialogue, I feel like I'm reading a movie script, or a Wikipedia plot overview. And if someone rips you out of your life, only to have a military force come bursting to your rescue... why exactly would you go with the person who upended your life? And then to later shoot a random stranger with no hesitation to save this upender? Yeah, not buying it.
I'm upset that I wasted money on this book (if you would call it that, I would consider it a novella)
And I can't respect an author that has over 100 published books within a few years. How about working on fixing the massive amounts of shit books that you have, instead of publishing anything that comes out of your head? Establish a base of GOOD books, then you can publish all the crap novellas you want. Until then, no respect. Anyone can do what you do.
Not to mention, if you check out the author's Goodreads account, she's rated almost all of her books 5 stars. I'm pretty sure I just threw up I'm so disgusted.
What if the life you’ve always known has been a lie. What if you are not really who you think you are? What would you do if someone told you that you are going to fade?
Celestra Caine’s life has been pretty normal. She was your average teenage girl who had a hot jock boyfriend and family that loves her. But on one fateful day all of that would change. All she ever knew she needed to forget. Her family has already faded. Now she needs to fade too.
This would be my first book of Kailin Gow. I’ve had this on my mini library for some time and finally picked it up.
“What if you found out you never existed?”
This was the statement that caught my attention. The concept of Fade was unique. To Fade was to become someone else entirely. I am not sure why they fade the others but for Celes’ case it was because she was special. They considered her a national threat which was why there were people who were after her and why the Underground needed her to fade, to protect her from them.
I liked Ms. Gow’s writing style. It was simple yet very descriptive.
The book was short. Really short actually. It leaves you asking for more. I don’t know if that's intended or not but I hope that Ms. Gow made it longer rather than cutting it to three books. I hope that there was more of it in the first book.
I gave this book a 4 because I liked the concept. If it has been longer or executed better it would have been a huge success. The concept of people from some other planet coming to earth for refuge because their home planet has been eradicated seemed cool. It sort of sounded like Superman but still I liked it.
The characters were okay. I have kind of love-hate Celes. Mainly because though she was not whiny and stuff she still went back even when she was told not to. Celes was one of those characters who does what she wants and doesn’t think the implications of her actions.
Jack on the other hand was a different story. When I first read about Jack who's last name was Simple. My first reaction was like what?! Is that even a last name? It was exactly how Celes reacted when he introduced himself. What do I like about him? He was gorgeous with his British accent. He was like an undercover agent for the CIA only their agency was not the CIA but was called the Underground. He was a fader. I wish I had gotten to know him more if this book was longer. You will get a glimpse of his past though which was good. But you don't get to see much of who Celestra really is.
I really thought that this book would earn my first 5. It started so strong for me but towards the end it became a little predictable. I will be reading the other two books just to find out who Jack and Celes really is and what will happen to Celes' ex-bf or current bf Grayson.
Someone already said it, but I feel I should mention it again: this book reads like fanfiction. I loved the concept, and how disturbing it must be to find yourself instantly forgotten, but... a few pages in and I could see what I had been tricked into reading. The characters, terribly one-dimensional. Celes has no mind of her own. There's the ever present love triangle, which I cannot seem to get away from. And worst of all, the writing is so rushed and amateur I foundd myself thinking that I've read better fanfics. How anyone can give this book 5 stars is beyond me.
There seems to be nothing that Kailin writes that I don't like, her writing is superb and she draws me in with each and every new book or series that I read. This one was no exception, I was highly invested in the characters, and was often left on tenterhooks waiting to find out what was going to happen next. This would be my second favourite series after the Loving Summer series out of the four that I've read, the concept of the storyline is so original and fresh that I was absorbed from the get-go. Celestra is seventeen, she arrives home one day to find her parents and brother missing, then she gets a phone call to say that her parents have been faded (their memories wiped of any and all recollection of her) and that she is to be next. When she comes too she finds herself in an unknown place with a man named Jack, hot, British, and around her age, he tells her she is being hunted by The Others a bunch of guys that are out to kill her, because she is important, The Underground (whose side Jack is on) is out to protect her, but when Celeste discovers why she's so wanted it will change her life forever. There's nothing I didn't like about this book, however if you're not a fan of cliffhanger endings make sure that you have the second book Falling on hand to read straight away, trust me when you read it you'll know exactly what I mean.
Kailin Gow does her readers justice with this thrilling and mind boggling series. Fade introduces readers to a concept that is out of this world.
Celestra Caine was a normal high school track star. Suddenly her world is turned upside down, when her family is Faded and she’s thrown into a completely new life. There’s definitely more than meets the eye in Celestra’s new life and Celestra is in for an awakening when she gets to know all of Mr. Jack Simple. Jack is with Celestra every step while she’s led to the Underground. She learns more about her background and the threats coming from a faction known as The Others.
Fade is a fast-paced thriller that takes readers from quiet town normalcy to life in the fast lane in a matter of chapters. There’s even a little supernatural flavor sprinkled throughout the story to give Fade an edge.
The characters Kailin Gow presents in the Fade Series are easily relatable to readers. Celestra stays strong even when she’s in freak out mode, trying to cope with all the scary changes in her life. It’s believable that as the series moves on, readers will see Celestra take charge and embrace her extraordinary power.
This book was awful! I am not usually harsh in book reviews but this book went from start to being kidnapped, appearance changed and a new life given in just a few pages. It is told quickly and perfunctory. I also don't buy the idea that a normal 17 year old girl with a serious boyfriend would just go off with the person who took her, shoot the person possibly trying to help her and then let them change her appearance even down to her fingerprints. I mean come on totally unbelievable. Then the boyfriend when she finally "checks in" on him is just all "I trust you". even though she dissapeared for weeks and gives no reason why. There are way too many holes in this short book and it doesn't get better!!
Celestra "Celes" Caine is your average teenage girl. She has a loving boyfriend, she has college plans, and a great family...until she starts to fade and bad guys in black start to come after her.
Right from the get-go the action/drama starts. Celes comes home from school only to find her family missing, her dad's car is in the drive, but there's no one there. So, Celes does what teens do, she searches the house and whips out her handy cell phone, only to find all the numbers are not working- except her boyfriends, which she just stands there not saying anything to him until her phone dies. After which, her home phone is called and a weird man says she is about to fade.
It took me the whole story to understand what 'fading' was. I thought maybe the person would actually fade, as in disappear, but they don't- not in the way I thought. Fading means the persons memories get wiped, and they become a whole new person, free from the life they had before or in certain cases to forget things. It's a really interesting idea, and it's really the only thing that kept me reading.
The characters only feel half fleshed out and I contemplated stopping, but curiosity won out despite that I wasn't enjoying it. Celes is an annoying character and her boyfriend Grayson starts off good, but he gets lost in the mix when Jack appears and becomes a stereotypical jealous guy that makes you want to roll yours eyes. Jack is Celes's bodyguard/keeper/love interest. And between the two guys, Celes is always mooching on one and turning around and mooching on the other, despite what she says about Grayson being the one for her.
There were times when I thought the story didn't make sense or certain parts were just too...fake/didn't feel real. Be warned: This story ends in an awful place- right in the middle of the action.
I might pick up the second book, just to see how the idea of fading pans out or maybe just for Jack.
Emm, I'm a bit confused here. Are all Kailin Gow's books so short? I didn't even have time to fully connect to the book and its characters and I was already finished with it.
The plot was good and whole idea was pretty awesome, because I didn't anticipate anything like what happened in this book. So, it was a good suprise.
The characters were good, though I had the impression that the author tried to write the lead character,Celestre, as a strong and independed woman, but that didn't work out as good as it could have, if she would have had more consistence. She just didn't have....something.
And again, a fucking love triangle!? Why? Does this happen in all Kailin's books, or they're just in the two books I've read? In Beautiful Beings she even wrote about a fucking love squere(is it possible!?) I can't stand love triangles and shit like that, so it really irritate me.
She should have just written a long and heavy book, not make them in series and leave hanging at the ending. I would have been her fan, if she would have done that, but now I'll have to wait to get the sequels and get to read them only bit by bit(if she'll write lots of sequels, of course) I like it better when I read one big book in longer time than lots of short stories with gaps of months between them. Maybe it's because she wants to get more money by doing that. If she does, then it's sad for her. I don't like it!!
Anyway, I enjoyed this book and it was worth the time I'd spent reading it, even though it wasn't much of it! :D
I was tricked into reading this book by its high reviews on GoodReads. The plot seemed original and interesting. I got about 3 pages in and thought, "Uh-oh". This reads like fanfiction. I can't think of a single area -diction, voice, pacing- where the writing isn't utter crap. Three words for Ms. Gow: show, don't tell. I counted four actual scenes -with description, dialogue, etc- for the first HALF of this novel. The rest is just the main character saying what happened over a matter of weeks, like she's narrating "Previously, on Grey's Anatomy..."
Still, a good enough plot could have kept this piece of garbage afloat. But nope; fanfiction yet again. When did the YA genre become blatant wish-fulfillment? "Oh hai, I'm hawt and have super powers and no personality. Also, two totally gorgeous guys are madly in love with me. My life sucks!" All I can say is: seriously? Seriously?
I gave it a go, I really did. I read about 60% of this book, according to my tablet. I put up with it until "Oh wait, it turns out I have a secret history with one of my love interests that neither of us remembers!" before announcing time of death.

Fade is a very unique fantasy thriller. This story has potential. It's a page-turner with a number of interesting twists. But... the characters seem pretty shallow to me, and most importantly, this is not a complete story. The "book" is fairly short (3000 Kindle locations) and ends in a cliff-hanger. I knew it was the first in a series, but really, it's just the first part of a single story.
I don't usually purchase books "cold" from authors I'm unfamiliar with, but I read an excerpt online and I was intrigued. Unfortunately, I am coming away disappointed. I read a lot of free Kindle books, and this one really seems to be about on par quality-wise with most of the free books I've read. Quite frankly I feel ripped-off having paid $5 for 1/3 of a book. That makes reading the whole story more expensive than a best-seller, and frankly this isn't of best-seller quality.
For the start of an intriguing story, with characters that could use more depth: 3 stars For the price and cliff-hanger packaging: 1 star average: 2 stars
This is another case of love at first sight. Not going to lie that between the cover and the fact that Kailin Gow wrote it, it was on my must have list. Then once again I was sucked in to a fast paced and action packed story. I mean you don't have to wait with this one and are thrown almost right into it! This is a quick and attention grabbing book and a quick one at that.
Right off the hop you meet Celeste who learns that not only that she will Fade but her family and everyone around her will no longer remember her. Ya not exactly what you want to hear right? However she does prove to be a determined and strong main character. She stands up for what she wants or finds some way to accomplish what she wants. Even after being removed from the world she knew and loved her ability to rationalize what is best for everyone and then adjust to her new situation was relatively quick and easy. Not saying that there was no issues but she let most of it go fair easy and quick. The things that she couldn't just walk away from I got to a point but felt that she was risking more than needed. For the most part though I could understand the reasoning behind her actions.
There are two guys in this book and just putting it out there for all of you that are a little cautious when it comes to the possibility of the "triangle." This does not pose a problem for me though. I found that even with the two guys there wasn't really enough focus on the romance part of things to really worry about it all for the most part. Not saying that there aren't moments that you will love *cough* Jack Simple *cough* but this was more about the action than the boys. Both of the guys definitely have their perks but ultimately I have high hopes for Jack for reasons that I can not disclose with out some large spoilers.
The story itself was unique and easy to follow despite it's fast pace. Kailin Gow has a way of giving you most of what you want and need while keeping it for the most part simple. The fading itself is different and I didn't quite understand why Celeste and why then but it is totally a patience thing. Things are revealed in good time and while you are getting there, you get a good idea of what the general process is like for people that fade. The only thing that you don't really learn much about is the Others... The idea that they are not the good guys is defiantly out there but who they are exactly is left a mystery for the time being.
This book will pull you in, strap you up and take you on one heck of a ride. Kailin Gow has created an action packed thriller with this one, there is not doubt about it. There are a few twists that left my jaw hanging and to be honest the ending seems to promise yet another action packed start to the next book Falling. I think once I was completely in this book one of the biggest questions was who do you trust... Still a question and I can't wait to pick up the next one to find out the answer! Well I hope the answer is there in the action and at times heartbreaking story.
Quotes
"You're different, but you aren't a freak. That's part of why I wanted to show you this. To show you that you aren't alone..." -p. 175
We're back to that theme then. I try to talk to them. I'm not dangerous. I'm just a teenage girl. - p.202
Fade is the first book in the Fade series by Kailin Gow. This is also the first time I’ve read anything by this author. While the premise of the book itself was a bit different for me, there was the usual teenaged angst, and of course the dreaded and hated 3-way relationship love triangle between Celestra Caine and two other possible love interest. Imagine if you will that you are an average teenaged girl who is a high school senior. You are in a relationship with fellow jock Grayson, and things seemingly are going well. Then you come home from school and your entire family has disappeared without a single trace that they were there in the first place.
Then, imagine that you get a call that says that you are going to “Fade” and wake up with a stranger looking over you. This is the start of Celestra’s journey to find out who, or what she really is. It is also a story of discovery that she isn’t a normal teenager, and that she has the ability to run faster than anyone else, except the mysterious Jack who becomes not only her mentor, but something else entirely. She also has the ability to smolder a person to death with fire which comes in handy as she is chased by the Others who supposedly want her dead.
I’ve read where people are confused by what Fade means. Think of it as Witness Protection except that you don’t remember anything about your past life, including the family that raised you. They basically erase your memories, give you a new name and fingerprints, and a whole new look. This isn’t a story where the girl wakes up in a new body. It’s a story of self-discovery and awareness that you are not normal and there are those who will do anything to rid the world of your presence in it.
There are two negatives for me.
1. The so called bad guys, called the Others come looking for Celestra because she is dangerous to mankind and has been dragged outside by Grayson who may or may not be working for the enemy. Just when it seems as though Jack and the Underground are ready to pounce and save the day……….:::crickets::::
2. I guess I am happy in a way that I did not pay for this book. I borrowed it from www.booklending.com which is part of Amazon.com. They give you 14 days to read the book before it is sent back to the owner. Good thing too. I would not pay for a book that is so short. Free, absolutely!
Book # 2 Falling released 11/28/2011 Book # 3 Forgotten releases sometime in 2012
Fade is the first book in the Fade series by Kailin Gow.
Celestra Caine has always thought of herself as a regular 17 year old girl, she is a high school senior and dating the popular school jock Grayson when one afternoon she arrives home to her family missing, no mobile network coverage and an unusual telephone call telling her she is about to Fade.
A group known as the Faders have been watching Celestra her whole life and know of unusual abilities she has and will possibly gain so have taken her into their protection against another group, the baddies known as The Others.
When a person Fade’s their memory is virtually wiped clean, this is what was meant to happen with Celestra but for some unknown reason it didn’t work so the Faders at their underground hideout have created a new identity for her as a model.
To me, Celes wasn’t a strong character, she accepted everything all too willingly and her emotions seemed to be absent, I expected or wanted her to kick up a big fuss and demand answers but it wasn’t the case. She also accepted the new identity as a model too easily, she was virtually unrecognizable to herself but she went along with it all.
Jack Simple is a Fader and has been tasked with looking after and protecting Celes, I actually didn’t mind him as a main male lead but wanted to know more about him and his role within the organization; I also feel there is more to him than what we have been told, he is a mystery and I am curious to learn more.
There is a dreaded love triangle with Celestra-Grayson & Jack and we are left in the middle of an action packed scene at the end which left me wondering who Celes will choose to trust.
I love the premise of Fade, I found it really intriguing but unfortunately for me it fell a bit flat in delivery, there were too many unanswered questions and I couldn’t accept how willingly Celestra accepted what she was being told, her feelings were also all over the place with her relationship status.
I do enjoy Ms Gow’s writing, it was simplistic yet detailed and enjoyable, I especially liked the action scenes and the unexpected twists and turns we are given along the way.
All in all, Fadewas a quick and enjoyable read. I will be reading the sequel Falling to see if the blanks I have will be filled in.
I should know by now that Ms Gow’s ending kill me!!! Hahaha but that’s the end, lemme go back. Celestra seems like a normal teenage girl who runs track in high school. Except she isn’t, and she doesn’t even know it! One day, she goes home from school to find her family gone… Just disappeared. And in their place, is Jack. He tells her she needs to Fade… Like fade from existence, because she is in danger. And danger follows them around like a squirrel trying to find nuts!
So, Celestra- I really like her. She’s in an uncomfortable situation. People wanna kill her, other people wanna use her, and she has no idea what’s going on. And to top it off, she gets a new identity with a boyfriend to boot- jack! Well I LOVE Jack! He’s hot! But hold that thought for a second. Celestra is just trying to make it. Learn a new life, keep herself safe, and make sure she doesn’t hurt anyone else in the process.
And then along comes Grayson. He’s her “past” boyfriend. She still has feelings for him, how could she not. But when trouble comes, she has feelings for Jack too. Does she follow the future with Jack, or stick to what she knows from the past with Grayson? Hmmm guess we’ll have to find out later LoL! I will say I’m on team Jack for right now. Lets just say I don’t know if I trust Grayson anymore. But I want to. I want to think when you have a relationship with someone for a significant amount of time, you know that person. Hmmm… Time will tell!
I love a story that gives me crazy plot twists. Just as you’re figuring out what’s happening- BAM!! Something will shake your feet on the ground! And Ms Gow definitely through a whammy in there for me. Her writing has always been so fun and enjoying to me. It is so easy to be sucked into the story. And it’s so easy to connect with the characters! I absolutely love reading EVERYTHING this woman touches- and she has A LOT!!
My suggestion is to check out Ms Gow. There is something for every person in one of her series- but this one is quickly becoming my favorite! Well, except for maybe her Wick Woods- there’s werewolves in there hahahaha! I love the story, I am really enjoying the characters and I can’t wait to see what’s gunna happen next!! Go get your copy! 5 THRILL RIDING PAWS from me!
Celestra Caine's life has been pretty normal. She is a senior, preparing to go to college, on the track team, has a great boyfriend, and her family leads a pretty typical life. All of that changes when she arrives home to find no one there, is unable to locate her family, and is informed she is about the fade. All the sudden Celes finds herself face to face with the handsome and debonair Jack Simple, and strangely enough though overwhelmed, finds herself feeling like she can trust him. After barely escaping an attack by "The Others," who are the bad guys in the story and want to see Celes captured, even dead, they make their way to a secret location where Celestra finds out that she is not who she thought she was, she is not sure where she came from, and her "powers" and very existence puts not only her, but others in danger. The only way to protect herself and those she loves is to fade, to have never existed, to have the memories of those she loves wiped away, as well as her own and become a totally different person, but Celestra is quite willing to submit on the memory issue, which makes things really interesting.
Fade is a fast-paced thriller with elements of science fiction, fantasy, and of course, romance all combined. It is not a very long book, but the action starts and the beginning and keeps you on your toes throughout the whole book. The concept is unique and keeps you guessing as the story progresses. To me, it has the feel of the television shows Nikita and Fringe mixed together. Then there is the oh so hot Jack Simple, who is not only beautiful to look at, he has a British accent, is a secret agent, and always knows just what to say and what to do in every situation, even when Celestra really screws up. Grayson, the boyfriend, is also pretty hot himself, but things aren't as they seem with him either. As the story progresses, the mystery unfolds further, culminating in a life and death battle between the two factions that are vying for control of Celestra. If you are looking for a great fast-paced and thrilling read, Fade is something you might want to check out.
Highly disappointing... GROSS picture and possible spoilers ahead...
I was really looking forward to this book thinking it would be similar to Human.4 because of all that "I don't exist anymore", crap. But no it was nothing of the sort.
The term "Fading" really sounded like something big like fading off of the face of the universe not JUST changing identity! Plus I couldn't understand why Celestra was so cooperative to an organization of complete strangers (known as the Underground) who have completely changed her life. And she just goes along with them "Fading" her, taking her away from her home and telling her she'll never see her family again and that they've "Faded" and "Moved on". Sure she was in danger by these terrorist like, but mostly unknown enemy. But how could anyone just go along with having their identity and appearance AND memories (they didn't actually succeed with this) altered??
Definite spoilers...
Then there was Jack the sexy Fader who poses as Celestra's boyfriend in her new identity. And yes she does sort of fall in love with him. But then she feels a little homesick, so she goes back to her hometown to see her old boyfriend Grayson, and discovers she still has feelings for him. I am so SICK of every YA novel having love triangles! I loved the superhero-alien aspects at the end so maybe something good can come of this series after all...
I was looking forward to this book and series after seeing so many positive reviews. I wanted something to tide me over between books in the Divergent series, and this sounded so similar. Unfortunately, this book was a big disappointment.
I felt like I was reading the cliff notes to a real book, or like someone else wrote, fanfiction. If I was asked to describe any of the characters, I wouldn't even know what to say. The main character is blonde and can run fast, but that's just a physical description -- nothing about her personality is evident. The "romantic triangle" is also very thinly put together. There is no buildup of any relationships, we just have to believe that in two weeks, characters fell in love.
I finished the book, hoping it would get better, but it didn't. It ended abruptly in the middle of the action, too. The best thing I can say about this book and the series is that it has a lot of potential -- it just needs a lot more "showing" and less "telling" or saying that an action sequence was "just like in an action movie" or a character's voice was "just like in an old war movie."
I think I'm just not the right audience for this one. It's written in first person, present tense, in the detached style of a movie script complete with choreographed car chase scenes. And it's got the slutty heroine who's leading on two besotted guys because oh I love them both and they're so handsome. Celes was even worse than Twilight's Bella in that respect; she would be kissing Grayson and barely five minutes later making out with Jack! I found the casual explanation of her selfish motivations and "conflicted" emotions completely unbelievable.

I love this author and I have read almost all of her books. The only thing I don't like is the constant love triangles. It makes the girls look like they can't make up their minds. This book is good and I look forward to the next one but I could do without Grayson.
Well this is an interesting story to read. So I was not sure what to expect with this book. So when I was reading about Celestra and how she was just living her teenage life and then bam everything changed. It was crazy. She faded!! Wait what? Then she is ripped away from her life but still existing but her family and friends don't know about her anymore. She is more than just human, or is she human? She can do things that she did not know she can do. Then there is Jack who is to help keep her safe. She is missing Grayson the guy she had to leave. So what will happen now since she is learning more about herself? Can the guys get along for Celestra's sake? There is a lot more mystery and some questions that I hope will be answered in the next book. This is pretty good to read.
This book is from 2011, but I had not read it. I always wanted to, but never got around to it. Recently I got a copy and couldn't put it down. Imagine coming home and finding that your life is in danger and now you need to fade. Lots of questions. What's going on? Who is out to get you? and Who do you trust? I love a good suspenseful, thrilling story and this one had it all. I was not disappointed.
I find that I don't like love triangles. I was loving the dynamics of Celes an Jack. They seemed to have that undeniable chemistry and I was all for it. However, Celes can't forget Grayson and I was not happy. This is just book one so there is much more story to be told. I will probably read the next books because I am a glutton for punishment. I want to see what happens with Celes, Jack and Grayson but better than that I want to see what else is thrown their way. I'm intrigued.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy for an honest and voluntary review
This is a fantastic story by Kailin Gow!! It has an amazing romance, with amazing characters, and is a really great mystery and thriller!! The story flows perfectly and it was extremely hard to put this page turner down!! Celestra Caine, a 17 year old senior at Richmond High School, leads an average wonderful teenage life.....Until she doesn’t...... I highly recommend this book 💙
I'd never heard of this book series until I came across Fade on Goodreads giveaways. Since it is soon to be a show on Netflix, and since I won the book, I thought I'd read it to see if I want to watch the show. The book can be kind of slow paced in some places, but overall I thought it was fairly interesting. I hope book two offers more insight into where Celes came from. I can't wait to watch the show on Netflix, I think it will translate better on screen
This book was an amazing read. From the moment that I started I was hooked and could not put it down. It moves along at a very nice pace for reading. The characters are amazing and you want to know more about them. The story will grab you and keep your interest all the way till the end and then you are wanting more. This book needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.
I loved this book but every book of Kailin Gow I have liked. At the beginning was crazy knowing you was a teenage girl in high school with your family then bam your life has changed. No more school or family. This is a good journey to go on. Everyone should read this book. You want be disappointed.
Celestra Caine is really intriguing. i really love Kailin Gow and her edgy books so when i saw this one i had to get it. it is really different and thats what made me like it as much as i do i cant wait to read the next book in this series
A very warm and fuzzy feeling to this style of writing. It's a much-needed break from what I usually read. It's very different from most YA books I've read though. There's a love triangle and even a mystery. Easy to get through.
