First, I just need to mention how wonderful this series is. I love how it has a little group of friends who basically have their own catering-type business. While including details regarding that they also further look into Molly and Amanda (the main characters lives). The little illustrations in some of the margins are quite suitable and the recipes in the back are wonderful and make me want to try them (unfortunately, I can't really cook but this series makes me really want to).

This particular installment in the series involves a Student election where Amanda runs against a good friend as well as an enemy. It also includes problems that actually happen in reality such as dating, party overload, and mean girls. These books are typically labeled junior fiction and the messages these books send out I believe would be good for people to read however, I have been reading and re-reading this series for years and still find them enjoyable and a quick read (I probably got this one done in a couple hours...It was 146 pages). I highly recommend this series.

This book is mostly about these twin girls that have a baking club and have friends that do it with them. And the twins mom and dad are going away for the weekend and their aunt stays with them. One of the twins is running for president for their school. The kids from the baking club help one of the twins out with making posters for their campane. I think this is a really good book because it shows how they feel and they have their own opinion.
