Wonderful book with raw emotiom

I loved this book. The story of Andrea aka Blaze was an emotional roller coaster. Her involvement with Jackson brought so much more to the story. The story of fire fighters & their brotherhood is so well explained. Thank you Jodi for another well written book in this series.

Jodi James made us wait for the third installment in her Brothers of Solemn Creed series, and this book was worth the wait. Jax and Andrea are a couple you root for throughout all the twists and turns of this story. Loved the passion between them and the challenges they overcome. And Jax...sigh...what a hero!

Highly recommend!

This is a good read. It's the third story in the "Brothers Of Solemn Creed" series. Although it is a stand alone read you would probably get more out of it by reading them in order. The author does a good job with history that it's not necessary to read them all. This is Jax and Andrea's story. The spend a night getting to know each other but then she leaves without a word on how to reach her. He keeps hearing her voice and finally connects with her. I like how their story develops. It's sweet and tender. There is also the ongoing struggle to find the truth so a lot of characters, danger, suspense, mystery and with some good twists and turns.

With every book more pieces of the puzzle as to what happened all those years ago fall into place and how lives become intertwined due to the tragedy. I really liked Jax and Andy together although they have a few up and down as they navigate going from a night where they didn't exchange names and just talked the night away to revealing more o themselves while the past comes knocking and old wounds are reopened as well as progress made. Thankfully both Andy and Jax know what they want in life and with each other and will fight for it.
