Since nobody has made a review for this book I thought I should be the first. I'll start out by saying I absoultely loved this book! It's the perfect tween/ teen book.

Diam wakes up in the hospital and can't seem to remember anything that happend the day before. The only thing she remembers is her going to the beach like any normal day and then being pushed off a ledge into the water. She thought she was just suffering from a concusion but she starts thinking other wise, when her wounds heal to quickly and clues to her mysterious past resurface, she is curious if that's all it is. When she has dreams of being underwater and meeting a woman named Mareline, Diam gradualy remembers what actualy happend: She is a Mermaid. Just like her biological parents, she has responsiblitys of the Reef Warriors, who protect reefs from its enemies. Diam afraid to tell anyone her secert, strugles adjusting to this new responsiblity.

Reef Warrior is about trusting your freidns and family and learning to take on new challenges and use your full potential.

I thought Reef Warrior: Journey to Discovery was very engaging and interesting. It kept me on my toes and was a hard book to set down. I loved all of the little twists and the relatable personalities of each of the main characters. The fantacy element was very unique with a new spin on the idea of mermaids. Absolutly loved it. I would suggest it to pre teens and teen girls, but anyone looking for a fun light read would really enjoy it.

I've herd that a second book is supposed to be coming out soon. I think this book has great potential as the start for a long fascinating and exciting series.

I received this book as an extra gift and Oh My Gosh. Halfway through Chapter 1, I was captured. I loved this book from start to finish. It would be prefect for tween/teens and even some adults would enjoy this book. It has captivating imagery and fully developed characters. I cannot wait to start her second one and see where Diam leads us.
