The only flaw in this book is that it isn't very long. Well illustrated with lots of great ideas to get your imagination going.

While I love the pictures and the inspiration it has given me over the years for excellent carved designs; the writing has misinformation, is all over the place from sentence to sentence, and is overall underwhelming. Still a cute book, but purely for the visuals.

I was really looking forward to this book, but I was just a little disappointed. The pictures are funny and I enjoyed the commentary, but they repeat the same pictures over and over. They could have included more different photos. And the recipes, while exotic enough, called for some ingredients and techniques that are not explained in the text.

Still, I enjoyed it and I have some ideas for my pumpkin this Halloween.
