Adopted at six months into a loving family, Jane takes the reader on a journey of tracing birth family, spanning fifty years, through a series of synchronistic events, culminating in a “Long Lost Family” type visit to Australia, unaware that the Covid pandemic was beginning to escalate.

Following her husband’s premature passing, Jane moved to London and recalls with humorous anecdotes, the singles scene, unusual temporary secretarial assignments and the challenges that solo travelling abroad can entail.
