The Lamb adaptations are still a bit difficult for modern children, so I always start with E. Nesbit's version, them David Timson's, and the Lamb version last. My daughter's comment was "This is like The Lion King!"

*Read this book ages ago (decided to add all the books that I remember reading and established 2017 as the year to add all those reads).*

Still not my type, but at least in Hamlet, even I can admit the ridiculousness of fate being a total jackass and just loving to shove irony in everyone's face. I can acknowledge it's greatness, doesn't mean I have to absolutely love it though. xP
