I'm looking for a volume which includes and English translation of Mallarmé's long work about an island voyage; I believe this is "Prose pour Des Esseintes" -- anyone know in what volume this is to be found?

An incisive analysis of the French poet Mallarme. The author goes over his major poems and discusses the symbols that were used in the poetry. Mallarme was a follower of Poe and Baudelaire and later on he himself had a cult following. His poems are difficult to decipher because he was into the ritualistic and mystic manner of producing verses. On page 189 it is written "Poetry is always a transformation and never an explanation. It creates enigmas and makes no pretence at solving them. In poetry the universe and all its problems are revealed once again." Also the drawings of Matisse that are interspersed in the book lending an air of etherealism to the book.
