Very predictable story.

1. It is an investigative story about a murder mystery case. The case centers on a troubled marriage and an open window. In the road, the investigator discover to full secrets of the family Maclennan. In one moment of story the detective search answers with a journalist very friendly.
Family Maclennan secrets enclose a lot of thinks like: unhappy marriage, the pain of Infidelity and the mourning. The book speak about jelaousy between old university friends to the control of restaurant of the death persons. There are two suspicious persons: the brother in law and the Alex partner.

Logan's inspector investigates a crime. This crime went in Edinburgh. A man was found dead in his bathroom in second floor to his wife and his brother-in-law. This man is Alex Maclennan.
He had a Charlotte's restaurant with his best friend Ian Ross. They met a years ago.
Logan's Inspector and Sergeant Grant researched all the family members and friends.
In this investigation, the first clue they realised that his wife cheating with Ian.
The second clue they thought that Donald Johnstone (brother-in-law) is the possible killer because he had a lot of debts.
The Tam's journalist helped in the investigation because is a very good friend of a Jenny Logan.
This clue is the most important to resolve the investigation because they met to Major Iness.
The Major was Ian's instructor in the army. For this reason Jenny knew that Ian could climb to the Alex's façane.
To catch it, Logan and Grant set him up.
Finally, the reason to kill is money and jealousy.
We like this book because we have learned a lot of vocabulary and it is easy and quickly to read. The history is very interesting and intriguing.

Blood on their hands (¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡THERE ARE A LOT OF SPOILERS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
the book starts with an inspector woke up for a phone call. It was Grant, her helper, he told her there was a murder in in Maclenna's house. It was Alex maclenna's. 25 minutes later the inspector arrive to the house and she found the corpse in the bathroom. The inspector found a piece of clothe on the floor and that piece it was from the murder. After to talk with the scientist, she whrn to ask some questions to her wife and the brother's wife. The journalist Tam adviced him to meet with Major Innes. After met with him, she recived a call from Tam. Someone tried to kill a guy who cheat him. While Logan was investigating, Ian tried to kill the neighbor who has seen him climbing to kill Alex. The inspector arrives to neighbor's house and she found Ian there. And then discovered that Ian was the murder of Alex Maclennan.

I think that the book is one of the best books I ever read before.

The story starts with a mid-night crime. Logan is a young inspector. She have to discober why Alex Mclennan die. She have an officer helping called Sergeant Grant. Now, they know that the man was killed.
They have to search evidence to know who is the murderer. The first person who is interrogated is his wife, Alice. Then, They follow investiganting to Alice's brother, Donald Johnstone, because he have economy problems. Finally, they talk with Ian Ross.
After that, they prepare a trap to find the murderer. That's how they finally know who is the murderer.
Opinion:
We liked this book because we learn some verbs in past, it have connectors and it helps us. We recommend because it's easy to understand, it's short and interesting (7/10).

Another murder story for English learners. If you like detective books and just started learning English then this book is for you.
The story is about a man found dead in his home bathroom. Did he slip and hit his head or did someone murder him?

There were three suspects. I enjoyed thinking about who the suspect was with Inspector Logan, even though I hadn't found out who it was by the end. I have experienced a lot of bits and bobs in my life, so I could understand the emotions of each of the three suspects.

Obviamente el objetivo del libro es servir para practicar inglés. Es la típica novela policíaca con asesinato de por medio y la investigación llevada a cabo para resolverlo. Lo que más me ha gustado de la novela es que consigue concentrar una historia creíble en apenas 50 páginas y consigue mantener en interés en la historia hasta el final.
Muy recomendable para todos los que quieran practicar su nivel de inglés

5. Actually it was a little boring for me. There are no much chang in this story. This story don't take step further. It was also the usual mystery story.
