Some really good tips and techniques for things to keep in mind for creating a good small group atmosphere. At times, the sample phrases and questions that are provided feel a bit stiff or forced, and I would probably word things differently, but all in all definitely worth the read for anyone considering starting (or already leading!) a small group.

This book is easy to read and highly practical. Comiskey fills the pages with interesting and often funny sidebars. Though I have been in several "cell" groups (now often called "Life groups")in my time, if found my useful tips for leading discussions and steering clear of stagnation within the group. Recommended!

Very helpful. Practical and biblically grounded. He doesn't go into theology much, but where he does refer to it, he is sound.

Wish I'd read it a few years ago when I started leading small groups. I'll definitely be coming back to this regularly for advice and tips.
