A little dated, but still enjoyable. Nora Roberts is undoubtedly a very talented writer. She creates characters so neatly and then is quickly and effortlessly able to build the heat between her MCs. The euphemistic descriptions of orgasm seem a little cheesy these days, though.

This edition contains the first two books of this quartet. I've read them all before, but it's still worth a reread.

This is an older book of Nora Roberts'. I thought it was a fun, lighthearted book full of love and wonder. The story is based around three young boys who Ray and Stella Quinn had adopted and how their lives changed when Ray was on his death bed and made the three young men promise to raise a fourth son that Ray was in the process of adopting himself, even though Stella had passed away several years before. The three men come together to raise Seth, while two of the brothers find their true loves, but not without their own demons getting in the way.

This is two novels in one volume - Sea Swept and Rising Tides. Now on to The Quinn Legacy, the final two novels - Inner Harbor and Chesapeake Blue.

The Quinn Brothers was a great start to the series!

The Quinn Brothers, books 1 & of The Chesapeake Bay series by Nora Roberts @norarobertsauthor. It's time for some Nora! 💜

~ Sea Swept - Cam & Anna. This starts the series about 4 brothers & I loved this book. MF, found family, a little bit of a mystery, & both Cam & Anna have a hot temper. 😂

~ Rising Tides - Ethan & Grace. A fantastic 2nd book about the 4 brothers! Perfection. MF, single mom, found family, ongoing bit if mystery, & both Ethan & Grace are still water but have lots of tempers once they are riled up. 😂

if i would have read the books separately... the first would have been 5 stars and on my favs... and the second would have been a 3 star... but because they’re combined in this book I have to judge it as a whole... so a fair 4 stars... the second book was just more of a repeat of the first, in a more annoying way however, and a bit more confusing on ethan’s emotions... he really wasn’t making any sense to me

SEA SWEPT 3.5
RISING TIDES 3
I already wrote an update about Sea Swept so I’ll keep it brief. Loved ‘em. Still think Cam and Anna are my favourite.
Rising Tides was really sweet. I liked how patient Ethan was and how Grace was all subdued until she got really pissed. I liked their interactions with Seth.

One of my favorite series! This one is so full of love and hope.

I love most all of Nora’s books but this series is one of my favorites! The characters are so real and full of life. To be a part of their sorrow, pain, joy and happiness is great reading. Don’t hesitate to read these four awesome books. Just wish Nora would give us Aubrey’s story!!

Nora Robert knows how to write a man’s POV so well. This two-in-one book was a pleasant surprise cause I had ZERO idea that’s what it was.

I absolutely loved Cam’s story. The reason this is so low… I did not like Elliot’s story. For some reason I really thought it dragged. I will keep reading it because I’ve fallen in love with this family and the brotherhood they have.

Good read

In both of these men lives it was hard for them to overcome their troubled past. It showed how love from strangers (now step parents) could have them change their futures in a very positive way. To trust in love again since they never received that as a child. How important family is.

I fel like I read a different book than everyone else. I was so bored reading this. If a book could be monotone, this would be it. After the death of the father, everything became the same. I made it to chapter 12 before I decided to give up. There was no plot.

As always Nora Roberts had me holding back the tears reading the last few pages of this book. Two beautiful stories about love and forgiveness ... forgiveness from others but also for ones self. I deeply enjoyed this read and look forward to reading the next two in the saga.

I enjoy Nora Roberts, and especially enjoy trilogy's. This is the first and second of four books, and, as usual, they were very good. The characters always ring true, and you can really get into their head. I highly recommend this series. It is about child sexual and mental abuse, however, although the outcome is positive.

Pulls at the heart strings

Emerging from a challenging past these characters must choose to make a different future. The plot takes two of the Quinn brothers on a quest to move past the damage into a future of love, family, and commitment. Wonderful story.

For many, many years, this has been a favorite series of mine ♥️ I love the Quinn brothers and their stories.
I’ve reread several times. I was raised in Maryland and went to college on the Eastern Shore which makes the atmosphere familiar and nostalgic.

I didn't care for the intimate scenes and it's hard to read about the tragic childhoods but the stories were so good I had to finish anyway.

Typical chick lit/romance novel but loved the concept of the Quinn brothers and their relationships. Enjoyed reading the first 2 novels as one and now I need to get my hands on 3&4

love it

Many romances are trite and formulaic. Though Nora has written hundreds of them, each one feels fresh and original . Love this series.
