The book is somewhat spotty and seems somewhat haphazard in its approach. It is theologically sound in places (like most of the last 50 pages) and weak in others. Narrative passages are regularly spiritualized (though generally supported with topic-related didactic passages) which constitutes a big warning flag and is utterly frustrating. Surprise - or not - the author never claims that the Holy Spirit "speaks" to us apart from the Bible and gives a strong Biblical description of how the Holy Spirit guides and directs the believer.
