Nicky Deuce: Home for the Holidays

If you ask Nicholas Borelli II--better known as Nicky Deuce--winter in New Jersey is awfully boring compared to summertime in Brooklyn, where he had the best two weeks of his life. Now it's cold out, he's back in school, and he has to live without Grandma Tutti's home cooked Italian meals and Uncle Franklie's funny tough-guy attitude.

But not for long! Nicky's father is throwing a New Year's Eve party and the whole family is going to stay at their house and the gang from Brooklyn is coming to visit. By Christmas, Nicky's home is brimming with Brooklyn accents. Grandma Tutti wastes no time taking over the kitchen while Uncle Frankie charms the neighbors and cousin Tommy beats up Dirk Van Allen, the biggest jer in the neighborhood.

Suddenly Tommy becomes a local hero but he and Nicky also become the prime target of a bully's revenge. Nicky Deuce is about to find out that winter in New Jersey is anything but boring.

Steven Ralph Schirripa is an American actor. He is regularly credited as Steven R. Schirripa, including his total of over 300 total appearances in three long running series, playing: Bobby Bacala on The Sopranos; Leo Boykewich on The Secret Life of the American Teenager; and Detective Anthony Abetemarco on Blue Bloods. Schirripa is host of two Investigation Discovery series: Karma's A B*tch! and Nothing Personal. He is the voice of Roberto in the Open Season film series.

This book was Great just like the First one. It made me laugh and Smile. I just got the book yesterday and finished it the same day. It took a while but i did it. You can tell this book was good cuz i wanted to finish it and did all in one day. Thats how good it was. I would soo Recommend this book. :)

Boys especially might get a kick out of the sequel to Nicky Deuce, welcome to the family. Same characters different setting. This story may be offensive to some italians who don't like the Goomba stereotype.

i enjoyed the first book, and this one was just as clever i really enjoyed the switch of location.
