Reprint of the Venomous Butterfly pamphlet, with classics by Landstreicher, a long-term anarchist writer and translator (primarily of Italian insurrectionary texts).
Includes the title piece, plus "A Projectual Life", "Free Love", "Passionate Friendship", "Hatred, Realism, Security Culture and Expansive Living", and many more.
One of the few non-academic anarchist theorists writing today.
The very cutting edge of contemporary post-Stirner thought. Listening to this audio book has felt like climbing the ah-ha-moment ladder of ladders. The perfect touch to my moral education. Adored the chapter titled, "Realism".
A brief but inspiring piece of insurectionary individualist anarchist thought, that, following in the tradition of egoist anarchism starting from Stirner and combining it with the critique of commodification of everyday life and its reshaping in the capitalist logic of thought of the Situationists (especially drawing from Raoul Vaneigem), calls to a liberation of ourselves from imposed schemes of life and thought, a freeing of desire and passion and reinforcing the self via a radical subjectivity.
Due to its brief and concise naturem however, some aspects such as the chapters discussing love, feminism and revolt/therapy may come off as problematic in its potential implications, simplistic and in need of more detail at best and regressive at worst.
Kind of described every political belief i hold close to my heart and have trouble putting into words. Radical love for one another is my motto as our saving grace. Ignoring thr other essay about child love for now lol
