This was a great resource. With everything listed alphabetically, it's easy to look up a problem quickly to see what you should do. The only issue I had with this book, was the determination to advice attachment parenting techniques and suggest that if you don't attachment parent, you will not be successful with breast feeding. We do not co-sleep, and follow a modified schedule. I successfully breast fed my second baby for over a year without supplementing. I do recommend this book because there is a lot of useful information. I would just like people to realize that setting something that resembles a schedule for a breast fed baby so that mom doesn't go crazy can be done without threat of mom loosing her milk.

This is a great resource. I had some issues with breastfeeding the first time around so I thought I would try and educate myself a little better this time. It had alot of great suggestions that I found super helpful and there are answers to any question you might have. It's also nice that it doesn't get all judgmental about breastfeeding which I found annoying with alot of other books. Definitely worth picking up.

I love this book's format. It's alphabetical, with similar topics cross-referenced, in a friendly Q&A style. Since it's broken down into small chunks, it's an easy book to read while you're breastfeeding. Despite the fact that it's a reference-type book, I found it enjoyable to read. I just wish I'd found this book before I started breast-feeding... it would have answered a lot of my early questions!

This is a nice book for new nursing mothers and mothers to be. It gives you an insight about breastfeeding so you might enjoy your baby while nursing. This is a book of question and answers and also scenarios mothers might encounter.....it's a easy read and a eye opener, interesting enough for fathers to be as well.

Even though I switched to formula with James, I am really glad that I read this book with all it's information. Bfers are militant, but they have passion. The book was a little preachy about the good around breastfeeding, but overall gave solid information.

Great resource. Geared more toward the early stages of breast-feeding; once it's well established I think most of these questions would have been answered. But, it's convenient to have the information all in one place.
