Stories of witches and civil war deserters that were hanged at the old barn had always appealed to the citizens of Rope Valley. Rumor had it the hanging barn was inhabited by ghosts. Until… Orville Nix sent his two sons, Levi and Auger, to the hanging barn to look for antiques for the family store. When the boys didn’t return he sent his daughter, Walli and her friend Rhoda to go find them. But none of the kids had returned by closing time. Something deep in his gut told him the kids were in trouble. Did some alien force, vampires, werewolves, ghosts or something worse take the kids? He didn’t know but he was going to find out.
