I originally picked this up for my 12-year old son to read because of his great interest in The Titanic, but once I picked it up to peruse through I ended reading it and couldn't put it down. Many interesting facts about the ship itself, the people who survived and died and as well, James Cameron's movie version. Very engrossing.
This book took me a while to get through but mostly due to the amount of tiny amounts of information. At points it felt like I was reading a textbook dedicated to the Titanic. I enjoyed the facts and many were rather neat additions to what people are used to seeing in the Movie. The addition of movie facts helped to bring the novel a bit of fun in between more serious facts. I cannot attest to the accuracy of the information but the amount that we know about the disaster that is not common knowledge is incredible to see.
