Meet Raven, a young light skinned honey dip from Baltimore City. Her mother Ellen becomes a junkie by messing with the wrong man and her bad habits caused them to lose their house and their family, and for Raven, her mind. Raven assumed life hated her and the only person she had was her best friend, Jodi, that was until she met Killa. Who couldn't of came at a more perfect time in her life. They shared what people may call a "fairy tale" relationship. Raven is now living the life she thinks she deserves. But all that glitter's ain't gold, tragedy hits home hard, and with no one to turn to Raven develops a craving that she can't seem to kick. Will Raven be able to kick her craving? Or will her cravings stop her from kicking? LITERALLY!
This was a good story I never thought Raven would go out like that I kept thinking what’s her Craving now I know.I gave it only 4 ⭐️ cause of the errors but,the story was 🔥 and I highly recommend this book.
I think that this was a good book. I enjoyed reading this book and following Raven as she grows up struggling with her mothers addiction and not having a mother who was motherly. She had to grow up a lot faster than she needed because of her mother. I thought Raven was going to be the typical female you read about in these books but Raven was a deep character. The book was good it needed a few tweeks in the editing department and it would have been great, but other than that it was good. I felt bad for Raven because she was just put out into a world she was not ready for, she tried to get her life in order and then something came in her way.
First I want to say even though there were errors in this book Angel still delivered a great story. The book started out a lil slow for me, but I knew Angel was gonna bring it. I wasn't disappointed at all. I can't recall ever crying reading a book, but this book actually made me shed some tears. I related to a certain scene in this book and it made me relive a moment in my own life, but anyway big up to Angel......looking forward to reading her other books. I think Pretty Money is next in line love that cover=)
Raven's Cravings by Angel is a good read. I like the concept of vibe in this book. This book is about Raven is struggling with her mom's drugs addiction and hang out with the wrong people. Kyle's mom is a caring and lovely person to Raven. I felt bad what's happen to Jodi and Raven. The end of the book was sad and emotion. I enjoyed reading Raven's Cravings by Angel. Angel Williams did a good job. I'm looking forward to read another from this author. I give the five stars to this author and book.
This book was so good in my opinion. Raven really had a hard life. growing up with a junkie mother who offered Raven's body to pay for her fix. I had hope for Raven after she met Killa. after they got passed the love/hate part of their relationship I thought she was going to make it. Everything towards the ending literally made me choke up. a young girl whose whole world came crashing down and the only way to fix it was with a craving of her own.
The book was pretty good. I can not believe the things that ultimately happened in end. It was down right depressing. Knowing what I know now I probably wouldn't have read it, that type of misery is not my cup of tea.
