Every chapter says something about the dysarthria symptoms, but if you compare the chapters they describe the symptoms differently depending on what chapter it is. The symptoms should be the same every time you read about them so you can remember them. It is very thorough but could be better organized and written in a simpler style to facilitate learning.
You won't like this unless you're an SLP. I just read it now that I've been graduating and working for 3 years in the hospital. This time around it was fabulous and extremely informative. (I skimmed a lot by the way.) It's funny how reading a textbook after you've been actually graduated and working is so much better! Before it was comepltely over my head.
