I loved Josh throughout all the other books in the series and couldn’t wait to get his story. For a playboy bachelor he really has a side to him that even his closest friends never see, I’m rooting for him to get his HEA but I’m not sure if he will get exactly what he wants. Will have to wait until Lorna’ book to find out.

Chasing Love: Josh by Kelly Shandwick is book seven in her Wild Romance Saga. The is the first of her new duet about Josh Armati and Lorna Wild. If you have read the other duets then you will know that Lorna is James wild’s youngest sister and Josh is his best friend. This is an age-gap, love triangle tale, full of angst and some poignant scenes.
Josh lives in New York and runs his family’s business. He has always lived a playboy lifestyle and the whole Wild family know he will never settle down. Lorna is a high school teacher living in Chicago and in the previous books we have had glimpses of her jealous streak when it comes to Josh.
Josh and Lorna have been good friends since they were kids and their banter is hilarious, but for nearly ten years they have been friends with benefits. The only problem for Josh was she had the same arrangement with another man. They keep the whole unconventional situation a secret from her family and this has put pressure on Josh’s relationship with James.
The author certainly makes you feel sorry for Josh and it gets very emotional when he decides he wants more out of life. He wants to put his reputation behind him and have a proper relationship with Lorna. He is committed to her but his future dreams have changed. When he makes an ultimatum, they both struggle with the aftermath. Get the tissues ready because nothing goes as planned and everyone is left heartbroken.
Your view of Lorna will change through out the book. Personally I got cross with her but when secrets and truths come out, I could see how their versions of moving on have affected them both. Can he make the decision that is best for him? Can they stay friends when their feelings for each other are so raw. He has an interesting idea for getting the life he now wants. Lots of miscommunication builds it up to a heart-rending ending, ready for Lorna’s book.

I love Josh, I think his so called best friend gives him a bad reputation, I didn't like James attitude to Josh over Lorna at all. After all James was a lover/leaver of women before Tricia and he changed, how is it for him to not think Josh capable of the same. Josh is caring of those in his inner circle, I'm not saying he was a saint over early treatment of Lorna but I do think some of that was her reactions to him as well. This is angsty and emotional, full of inner turmoil and not helped by those who should be supportive not really having either characters back. Erin was the only one to be understanding and a sounding board, especially for Josh. This is realistic and down to earth, well given the characters have the money to pay for private transport and anything else they need. As a reader I was soon engrossed and held by the story, invested in Josh getting some happiness. This continues in Lorna's book so I'm hoping for some clarity to her reasons and understanding her better, she doesn't always come over in a good light in this one so it will be interesting to find out why? The characters have depth and are thought out, their issues are real and easy to identify with. It is well written and has a great flow throughout. We get snippets of previous characters from the series as they pop in and out which is also nice. All in all this was interesting and quite a powerful read and covers several important and sensitive topics from death to children to three way relationships. All handled in a way to appeal to most readers and have them fully committed to the outcome. I look forward to Lorna's book for that.

Josh and Lorna have put each other through the wringer of love not fully communicated. The level of emotional turmoil in this book is written in a very engaging way. Looking forward to the rest of their story.

Wow what a read.
Josh and Lorna
I actually did not like Lorna all through this book until the very end and now I cannot wait to read her book.
Josh and Lorna's story is definitely a rollercoaster of emotions and I know Lorna's story is going to be the same.
Absolutely loved Josh lets be honest everyone is going to love Josh.
Seriously need the next book

Angst at it's best
I am in love with Josh and Lorna! The trials of thier love is incredibly difficult. I love all the angst that is brewing and the build up to a cliffhanger. Totally worth the read!!

Josh and Lorna have been dancing around each other for years, it’s complicated and neither of them wanted to tell her family so no one knew they had been seeing each other.
It worked for both of them, until Josh realised that he wanted more and couldn’t settle for what Lorna was offering and didn’t want to be someone’s second choice.
Deciding that the only way they could move forward was to be friends, Josh decides to move forward with his life and things he’s been thinking about for a while.
With Lorna and Josh spending time together they both try to fight what they are really feeling.
When they realise that miscommunication and things not told is the reason why they are apart, they don’t know if or how they can move forward.
Can’t wait to read Lorna.

Where can I get myself my very own Josh? I fell head over heels in love with the man within the prologue!! This narrative is unputdownable!! I didn’t care how tired I was going to be today because I am so invested in this story that reading was more important to me than sleep.
Josh and Lorna’s relationship is filled with complications. Throughout this novel I could never envisage them finding a way to be together – there is too much to overcome. One of the many things I love about these duets by Kelly Shandwick is that each book is written solely using one of the main character’s POV and then the next book switches to the other person. This story has ended at the perfect time for it to change from Josh’s POV to Lorna’s. I cannot wait to learn her thoughts and feelings about where the couple are at now. I also am desperate to discover how their journey continues and will end.
I love that the other couples we’ve already got to know in the Wild Romance Saga series make appearances. Not surprisingly since Lorna is one of the Wild siblings and Josh a best friend. This narrative brought out all the emotions in me and I loved feeling every single one of them - yes, even the heartache. As always, the author has brought sensitive real-life topics to this story which are written with consideration and care. There are thought-provoking lessons to be learned from Josh and Lorna’s mistakes. Communication being one of them.

Highly emotional & complicated
Book #7 in Kelly Shandwick's Wild Romance Saga, CHASING LOVE: JOSH, is the beginning of Josh Armati and Lorna Wild's duet. Lorna is the youngest sister of James and Josh is his best friend. Their story is highly emotional, involves a complicated situation, and is filled with angst.
Josh and Lorna have been friends since childhood. As they grew older their friendship turned into friends with benefits. He is a successful businessman, and she is a teacher. For a man of high intelligence, a man who despite his reputation had a side of himself that he kept hidden, he had somehow found himself in a situation where he had to keep his feelings secret and was constantly lying to his family and friends. My heart went out to him, he wasn't the man I originally thought he was. Lorna came across as an extremely selfish woman. She hides her life from her family and the lies she tells are abysmal. She's shattering Josh's heart through her actions and appears to not even realise it. I just hope that she doesn't ruin Josh's decisions for his future.
Ms. Shandwick concluded Josh's POV at the perfect moment. A cliffhanger that has me yearning for Lorna's POV. I found this installment to be profoundly emotional, especially when dealing with some sensitive topics. Tissues are definitely required for this installment. I look forward to seeing if Lorna is able to redeem herself in her book, because she really needs to.

Oh man what a mess!
How can such a successful man, a highly regarded man find himself embroiled in a situation that has him walking on egg shells, keeping his feelings in check and lying to his friends and family. How deep must that love be for a woman that he is willing to put up with so much than just walk away? At the risk of losing his self respect and sanity? Damn...
At this point I truly dislike Lorna, even though she keeps apologising to Josh. The selfish woman wants to keep her family happily in the dark while her secret stays safe, but how can she not see what she's doing to Josh? Yeah, not nice, she better have a bloody good reason.
Towards the end of the book Josh makes some life changing decisions, he finally realises that he is getting older and that maybe he can find a new, different kind of love to fill his heart. After all of that hard work Lorna just walks back into his life saying they need to talk.... WTF !
Well, now I can't wait for Lorna's story * huffs out in frustration*

Josh and Lorna have known each other for years after all he is her oldest brothers best friend and if that isn’t enough to stop them acting on their feelings her younger brothers best friend Hammer will certainly push the boundaries. The line should never have been crossed and friendships will be strained but love is a powerful emotion…….

Finally Josh! I could not wait for his book. I have loved this series of duets so much. As it's been a bit since we've been back in the Wild world I kinda forgot a few things. I was quickly reminded within a few pages and knew I was in for it. Kelly tore at my heart immediately. As always with her books the depth of emotions she gives us with the stories and characters has me feeling every scene on every page. She shocked me where the story took a turn. Even after that she continued to surprise me with decisions Josh made. In the best way. I adore Josh. Like Lorna, and all the other women he has ever come across, I have been charmed by him since the first time we met him. That adoration was kicked up several notches getting to know him so deeply in his book. Reading only one perspective per book in these duets gets me all riled up and dying for the next book with the other perspective. In this case it's Lorna. I can't wait to read her book. I need the best for them! I want the HEA that they both deserve. Highly recommend!

Book 7, Chasing love, Josh's story. I love all the books in this series, and when I think they cannot get any better, KL Shandwick writes another masterpiece.
I loved Josh's story, filled with heartache and angst. Living within a love triangle and having to fight for his love for Lorna, Josh puts her on the spot and wants her to choose him or Hammer. She chooses Hammer!
Fighting his disappointment and broken heart, he distances himself from the Wild family, including his best friend, James.
The gut-wrenching heartache displayed from both Josh and Lorna, as he wont give into his desires and love for her with his pride standing in the way. All that he remembers is she didn't choose him.
Twists in the story have you wanting to cry with them, and rejoice with Josh's news. Lorna has her secrets which are revealed, but is it too late for them to reconcile?
I am so impressed with this author, Kelly knows how to write to keep your attention throughout the whole story, and then wanting more. A worthy 5 stars. Cannot wait to read Lorna's POV

This was an emotional story and one full of angst. I found it easier to relate to Josh than Lorna as I had a hard time connecting with her. This book ends on a cliff hanger so you have been warned and there are several topics covered that may be triggers to some and I freely admit to some tears on occasion.

I enjoyed the story I had a difficult time liking Lorna. The main reason is the hell she puts Josh through. He is not a constellation prize. He is the prize and the total package. I do understand that many people know him as womanizer. Once he falls in love with Lorna that all changed. I felt Lorna was not good enough for him but at the same time he wanted her. I wanted him to have the woman he loves. I did like Lorna by end of the book. I am excited to read Lorna story when it's released. I need to know how their story ends.

Great read! I’ve been waiting for Josh’s story and I’m so rooting for him to get his happily ever after. Josh and Lorna’s journey is an emotional one and my heart hurt for Josh, I adored him. I seriously didn’t care for Lorna for most of this book until almost the end. Can’t wait for the next one! A must read.

Josh and Lorna have a friends with benefits kind of relationship but when Josh wants more he soon discovers that what he wants and what Lorna wants are two different things. He decides he needs to take a step back and makes a big decision about his life.
Both Josh and Lorna miss each other fiercely but they need to learn how to communicate better if there is any chance for them in the future.
This book definitely played with my emotions and I took Josh straight to my heart, I cannot wait to read Lorna's book next.
