Everyone wants to be loved unconditionally in marriage. But all too often, the conditions we create and the unrealistic expectations we place on our spouses rapidly cause that dream to fade. Soon we find ourselves sarcastic instead of sympathetic, condemning instead of compassionate, and far from that match made in heaven.
Packed with hilarious anecdotes and thoughtful insights, I Love You Unconditionally...On One Condition reveals that although marriages have their mountaintop moments, we spend most of our time in the valley of everyday living. Using 1 Corinthians 13, Joey O'Connor offers fresh insights into the marvelous, messy and often mundane moments of married life.

Be sure to check out my new romantic thriller, The Cobalt Curse.
The Cobalt Curse is a wild international ride through Dubai, Washington D.C., Brussels, Rwanda, and the Congo.
In visually stunning imagery, you'll follow human rights lawyer Dr. Kai Baldwin launch a daring search to rescue his former fiancée kidnapped in the Congo by a cryptocurrency titan set on controlling the world's cobalt resources.
My story is based on true events and my travels to the Eastern Congo, as well as heavy research into conflict minerals (cobalt), cryptocurrency, and technology.
If you read my previous historical fiction novel (AMONG KINGS), you'll discover mind-blowing information about the Congo, Central Africa, and the conflict minerals trade.
My story is timely and culturally relevant because your cell phones and mine need cobalt mined by children and families in the Congo (much of it illegally).

For a change we get a book that gives some real world guidance with a touch of humor. Unlike a typical dry, marriage book this one has spark and life. It does offer up scripture as the base for it's guidance so if that isn't your thing this isn't the book for you.
I was not a fan of the style of writing, but the content was good. The author jumped around a lot and it was hard to follow and remember what the point at hand was.
