This book is a Chronical of Narnia and is written by C.S. Lewis.
A world far away called Narnia was full of creatures like satyrs, nymphs, fawns, dwarfs and Talking Beasts. But a tribe called the Telmarines invaded it and the nymphs were put to sleep and no one could find the other creatures. Prince Caspian was the son of the evil King Miraz and his tutor, Doctor Cornelius, told him that King Miraz had given birth to a new prince and wanted to kill Caspian. So he ran away and was taken care of by two dwarfs named Nikabrik and Trumpkin and a talking badger named Trufflehunter.
Prince Caspian made friends with all the other Narnian creatures he found. And they hid from King Miraz but he sent search parties all over the world. Caspian was in danger. So he blew a magic horn that would get him help and it brought the ancient kings and queens, King Peter, King Edmund, Queen Susan, and Queen Lucy. Trumpkin found them and with a little help from the great lion king Aslan, he took the monarchs to the hideout of King Caspian, Nikabrik, Trufflehunter, and Doctor Cornelius. Peter sent a message to King Miraz, telling him he was gonna have a swordfight with him. If he won, Prince Caspian would be the king of Narnia. If Miraz won, Prince Caspian would be killed and his little brother would be the king of Narnia.
During the fight, the Telmarines jumped in to kill Peter. The animals of Narnia were on his side. King Miraz got killed by one of his own men. "That's for insulting me this morning!" The Telmarines eventually gave up and got sent to their own world through a magic invisible door that Aslan had made. King Peter, King Edmund, Queen Susan, and Queen Lucy went through the door too.
