Benjamin has a favorite spot along the river that he thinks belongs only to him, and he doesnt mind snarling at the beavers, salmon, and caribou that come a little too close. But when Benjamin is in trouble, can the other creatures save his life and help the selfish bear realize that the river belongs to everyone?
Decent short read. Illustrations were cute. But... The lesson in this story was a bit harsh. If the beavers didn't want the tree the bear would've died.. All the animals were okay with that.. I understand the bear was selfish, but geesh. This is a children's book. At least the bear was saved and they did scold him for being selfish. But smh..

The artwork was beautiful, but the story was very dark, especially for a kids' book. If the beavers didn't want the tree. The bear would have died anyway.
