Cassidy's installment to the Kelley Legacy series was okay. I liked Rhett. Caitlin was alright. But if you really want the truth I liked Molly, the horse, best.

I really enjoyed this book. The plot was so good. The story had suspense, action, heart break, and healing, and romance. This book is part of a series, but I read it as a standalone. I will need to read some of the other books. Hope they are as good as this one was.

Caitlin is a plastic surgeon. She was working for doctors without borders in El Salvador when she was held down and rapped. She returned home broken. She just wanted to crawl into her father's lap and feel his strength and love. When she got home she was told by her friend, and housekeeper that her father had left, and she did not know where he was. This was strange behavior for her dad.

The ranch had a new foreman. Rhett had always loved the ranch life until the day his wife died in his arms. All his dreams of ranching died the day that he lost his wife. Rhett now was working for the FBI. He was still grieving the loss of his wife. He was surprised to feel sparks when he meet Caitlin. His mission was suppose to be easy, work the ranch until he had to bring in Mr. O'Donahue. He never thought that he would fall in love along the way. Caitlin and Rhett both helped each other to heal.

This was a action packed, beautiful romantic story.

The rancher’s daughter is a plastic surgeon who opted to provide her services to the underprivileged in the jungle of El Salvadore. She returns to her family ranch after a terrible attack in the jungle.
A new ranch foreman appears while the owner, and father of the girl is missing. He is a rich, and investor in a secret society which he recently found out has an agenda that is very dangerous and politically motivated.
It’s no accident that the foreman just happened to show up. He is a former Detroit police officer that was recruited by the FBI and his assignment is to arrest the rancher for his participation in the plot to kill the American president. He must use any means to find the whereabouts of the rancher, and it might include using the daughter.
The two people have secrets that must be revealed along with the upkeep of the law. Who will be the loser or the winner?
