Adorable quick read. And by quick read I mean 20 minutes. The characters had a mind of their own, as is often with Sarah Prineas' writing. Since it was a novella, I was a bit lost at the beginning so it took up most of my 20 minutes getting my bearings, but super cute. And sort of a parody of "legends of the medieval times". Plus the price of the book goes to a charity. If you love Sarah Prineas, read this novella. Even if you don't have a kindle device.
An adventurous short story taken from the dwarf squire's viewpoint. Through the details about Joan (known as John) and George I could envision them on their quest. I only wish it could have been a longer tale because I now wonder if George will redeem himself to the Faerie Queen.
