I was really taken aback by the ending. It features someone separated who thought their spouse was dead only to find out they're not after they start dating again and are about to be married. I thought this was a Christian series so I was disturbed.

I like the story. I had a pretty good idea about what was going on before it happened and that is never a good thing in a book. I want to be totally surprised. The characters are very likable. Kevin, what a trouble maker. Great ending. When I laugh at the end that is good, very good. I got a great deal on the whole series on Amazon.com. Looking forward to the next one in the series. LOVE all the Bristol references. All the great little places on State Street and around the region made it a very fun read. We really do live in a cool town. However Bristol's heart is made of music and I was a bit disappointed that there were no references to that or any of the great local bands, musicians, bluegrass major at ETSU, or awesome open mic nights. Even the Great JP Parsons was over looked. I hope you kept your Bristol Rhythm and Roots schedule and can use this in some future writings.

I met CS Thompson at an arts festival in Banner Elk, NC... I bought this book, read a few pages, went back the next day and bought the rest of the series. This took me awhile to read not because it wasn't good, I just wasn't doing a lot of reading for awhile and was reading too many (if there is such a thing) books at once. I am looking forward to reading he rest of this delightful, light hearted mystery series. He generously signed each book for me as well.
