The intent of this book is to provide ex-patriots and non US Americans some guidance on US American’s values, beliefs and culture. I am a US American and the book provided me with insight about myself. Reflecting on my values, beliefs and actions and how my actions, communications and behavior characteristics could be perceived by other cultures. A very good read and it may even give you a chuckle or two.

I understand the goal of the book but I find it very limited and even slightly 'racist'. The American way of thinking that everything they do is superior is the point that stands out the most.
