(Revised 10/2012) Being a teenage girl is difficult enough without having to deal with a dysfunctional family. Celeste Gallagher takes on her family's problems as her own creating guilt and shame. There is only one way for her to rid herself of that self-imposed responsibility and she fights it every step of the way.
Colleen Wait is married with 4 children.Colleen grew up in Houston, Texas where she graduated from The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She has been very involved in her church's youth activities including children's musical, Daughter's of the King, SonQuest and various other youth events. She recently was involved in a local mission trip with her church's youth group. She is an avid reader, especially the classics and began writing short stories in elementary school. I think this book would be one young adults, or teenagers would enjoy. The story deals with dysfunctional families and struggles. Celeste has a strange life and much to deal with after lives are torn apart. This is a tale of survival, strength and hope, It is not the usual story I like to read, but the author has written a good tale with a religious touch and one that helps others cope with life.
