Elianna, a wolf shifter, just lost her Uncle--the Alpha of the pack. She's the one now that everyone is coming to as the Alpha. But because she's a women, she needs to find someone in the pack to takeover.
Her father was the first Alpha, when he died years ago, his brother, her Uncle stepped in. But Elianna is the only child from both families. So when Gerri comes to Hawaii to pay her condolences, she has an idea that might help Elianna.
Lucas is the Alpha of his pack. He usually hides away working from home to avoid seeing his pack members socially. His younger brother, the sheriff, is the social one. Lucas believes that love is a distraction. Which is why he's rebuffed Gerri's matchmaking efforts.
When Gerri asks for his help with another pack, Lucas readily agrees. But when he meets Elianna, he should have known that Gerri had other intentions. No matter how much his wolf wants their fated mate, Lucas doesn't see the logic in it and was ready to walk away from her for good. But Elianna makes him see things differently for the first time in his life.
When the duo realize that her Uncle was murdered so another could take over his territory, Lucas knows he will never leave his mate's side.

It was a cute read
Enjoyed this story. Had to laugh at how lazy the pack was & not be stable enough to hold their own & and easily wanting to give up. They did come around though. Its okay to depend on your Alpha but not to the extent these people did & among all the other small packs on the island. Wished it had finished more glorious. Lucas was an Alpha & not taken down so easily in a fight, & considering Lucas could've done a lot for his new pack, creating jobs, taking over the resort on the island. Would've been great. Taking out the cops who was easily swayed by money. Good read but the dynamics was lacking. Guess it was only about mate finding.

Eliana and her pack were at a loss. After the death of her father, and then Uncle Phil, they were without an alpha. Enter Geri Wilder. She is sending Lucas to the island to help pick the next alpha and for....Lucas would make a fabulous Alpha. After all he has his own pack. He's got his work cut out for him- finding a new alpha and staying away from his fated mate....Fabulous HEA romance in the PDA series by Milly Taiden!

Wonderful story with amazing characters in the amazingly beautiful location of Hawaii. Lucas is a big, strong sexy alpha werewolf, and Eliana is the daughter and niece of 2 previous alphas. The story has it all, romance, humor, danger, hot hot hot sexy times, and best of all, a wonderful HEA. I highly recommend this book and series. Be sure and pick up a copy.

Waiting for the next
I have read ALL of PDA (Paranormal Dating Agency) books and all but a couple have have been excellent! Their plots are fresh and heroes/heroines are spicy. I enjoy the banter and comedy. I see Milly Tauren I have to get it!!! The only question is are you caught up?

Gerri is still my favorite matchmaker, especially for the paranormal community. Milly Taiden has once agin brought us a couple that is enticing and sexy. I loved hearing their love story unfold and hearing/reading their HEA. I can't get enough of Gerri. She's one of my all-time favorite characters. Well done to the author!
